Tila Tequila takes a shot for the team

I like the whole idea of the show - but once again we're seeing the whole 'bisexual' thing.  I will be shocked if she ends up with a female - unless there's money involved if she ends with the woman.  When will we see the lesbian bachelorette show??  Sorry i'm just tired of the whole bisexual thing...its like it's the new color of the season! 

Of course a woman would want to be with another woman...they just dont end up with them longterm (bisexuals).

The only circumstance that would lend itself to me actually watching a single eppie of this show is if I am up late one night...cannot sleep...and all the other cable channels are trying to sell me some product I could care less about...then and only then might I watch.

Eww...I feel like I just caught a disease just looking at her picture!  I can't even picture the reject level of the lesbians that would try to date this skank.  I hope the entire lot of them walk off the show the minute they are introduced to their blow up doll of a potential paramour.

I may be in the minority here, but this is the first les-bi reality dating show.  I think it's worthy of weekly recaps....at least for the first few episodes.  Who's with me?

I mean, I would probably try out for this show...

With MTV shows there's always a catch.. and this one has three catches:

1. It's Ms. Tequila from MySpace :/

2. Bi

3. Straight Guys

Didn't MTV try the whole lesbian/bi/Gay guys dating thing on Dismissed? Gosh I have not watched that in years.. But from what I remember of it.. I don't think it worked properly..

Like someone mentioned somewhere above.. that it's about guilty pleasures.. which is what this show will end up as.. not to mention probably make our "team" look really bad and down right blah.. I dunno, I just wished they stuck to just a girls thing rather then involving guys.. I am not a bi hater or anything, but I believe for once they should start respecting things like this and actually try and do a good dating show.

I guess MTV isn't ready yet for that, and must involve twists and predictable catches.

Has anyone also seen that one show about staying the weekend with you ex while the current bf and gf you're dating spies in another room? I saw this show when I was in the States on my vacation and I could not believe that MTV are putting up shows like these.. it's like mini version of Temptation Island.. except you're dumped cause you couldn't last 2/3 days without your current bf/gf [well sometimes].

sorry, i dunno where i am going with this.. I guess I wanted to see an actual average, normal, person who is recently out and wants to find someone, but having Tila on the show just goes to show that MTV doesn't make great decisions/executions.

the fact that my nephew is one of those 2 million odd myspace friends, or that i would LOVE to read recaps on this!

This is an ultimate straight male's fantasy of a bisexual woman: a skanky blow-up doll. I think this show is gonna perpetuate the bi stereotype as much as mainstream movies with psycho/suicidal lesbians.

personally I'm sick of everyone judging bisexuals. sure, there are a few out there that give the rest a bad name, but all of them aren't like that. A lot of people are genuinly bisexual.

Regardless if she was famous well I say "infamous"or not I would say the same thing, how can she expect any human being in their right mind to take her seriously? Wow. those are some pretty broad generalizations. I'm trying to imagine what the reaction of the commenters on here would be if you replaced "bisexual" in those posts with "lesbian".

Not that I think this is going to be a good show, based on the airheadedness of Tila Tequila's quotes in the blog, and the premise of the show (since MTV seems to be setting it up as "lesbians vs. straight men"). Though I might watch it anyway, to see the train wreck.

First off - I know we're all for visibility and everything but I value reputation more. I rather have no show at all than one that will perpetuate some frat boy's wet dream. It pains me to watch straight skanks - lesbian skanks will just be worse because there are people out there who will believe ALL lesbians are like that. And if you DON'T think that the girls (including Tila herself) will be portrayed as skanks then obviously you've never seen a reality show. MTV (who launched Logo by the way) is really disappointing me on this one.

Secondly - the ignorance against bisexuality is disgusting. Just because you don't prefer something or understand something does not mean it is discredited in any way. I used to think this place was a safe haven for everyone. But this is not the first time I've been wrong. There is just as much ignorance within this very community as there is out in the "real' world. I don't know why I assumed it'd be different.

Next time you want to speak out against someone or even a group of people - imagine yourself in their shoes before you open your mouth. What goes around, comes around and you will reap what you sow. And even if you don't believe that - then believe in being a decent person who will set a good example for others in hope that they will follow.
