Oops, Kathy Griffin did it again

I don't understand all the fuss about this incident. and now that I have finally seen a clip I understand it even less. it's hilarious. it's who she is. if you don't want stuff like that to happen don't hire her. there is plenty of people who like what she does. :P

Well, I am glad now I have the whole story.

I just caught the comment she made on TMZ last night...complete with a bleep...and I had no idea she was responding to some heckler...plus I was sleepy...

so I kept wondering...what did Anderson do to p!ss Kathy off?!?

I was actually watching the show when it happened and I laughed out loud for like a minute.  She's funny.  The two of them are hilarious together.

They hired Kathy Griffin and now prentend to be shocked that she said something they deem inappropriate?  What did they expect?  If they were looking for boring and tame, they should have gone with that Hasslebeck (sp?) chick.  Of course, not one of the viewers - even in the Pacific time zone - would have made it to midnight.

I don't think she crossed any line.  However, networks are so terrified of being the next "Nipplegate" that anything outside of what the conservative right is comfortable with is considered inappropriate.

Being that it was Kathy Griffin, CNN should be thankful that this is the worst she said.

Kathy Griffin is amazing, and CNN had the best NYE show with her and Anderson 'Oh Honey' Cooper. I hope they'll do it again next year.

I was eating lunch and watching the CNN countdown (It was already 1pm(1stJan) in my country when NYC hit midnight) and let me just say that Kathy Griffin was hilarious. I don't know if she's usually that funny cause i never watched her show or any show she has been on, but she was funny for her countdown with AC!

And the first thing that came to my mind when i heard her yell was that she was directing it to a heckler, it never crossed my mind with it being related to AC until i read it online! lol guess i'm innocent in that way :)

OK, it took me a few seconds to work out what you'd self-censored there...because I was trying to work out what really obscene, shocking four letter word that begins with D would be censored. Dick? Seriously? You censor the word "dick"now? This must be one of those cultural things. Here in Australia, "dick" is a most inoccuous word. It must be about, oh, five minutes since I jokingly called someone a dickhead or asked them to stop dicking around. "Dick" is not rude; it's slang. Fair enough, insinuating that someone has a dick in his mouth has more "adult" connotations...but is this like the nipple incident at the Superbowl? IE something that only the US-Americans are flustered by and the rest of the world looks on slightly puzzled? 

Anyhoo, Kathy Griffin fucking rocks.  (I can say that, right?)

She's awesome. I just love her. She always jokes around about being undesirable... but... well, obviously, she hasn't received any of my postcards, letters, faxes, emails, IMs, texts, answering-machine-hang-ups or candy-grams.

{sigh} guess I should try harder.

Quite tame really if you listen to her standups hey they knew exactly what could happen having Kathy Griffin on live tv then that's CNN's fault.

I don't think she went too far. I think people just need to lighten up and have a sense of humor. Kathy Griffin is hilarious I love how she just says whatever comes to mind. I've grown up around that sort of biting sarcasm so nothing she says is offensive to me.

I wish I had been watching the New Years Eve coverage on CNN because I would have loved to watch/hear that when it actually happened, but I would probably have woken everyone in the house up from laughing so hard. Come on it's Kathy Griffin she has to say at least something she'll get in trouble for.
