Brunch with L.P. ("Brunch with Bridget," Episode 83)

This week, Bridget brunches with singer and songwriter L.P., who performs a song on her ukulele and explains why snakes love her.

Bridget also introduces a musical performance by Lisa Rieffel and Killola.

And, of course, there are a couple of numbers by Dance Magic, including one by Bridget and Cat Davis that would make Mia Michaels cry proud.

If you're in the Chicago area this week, come out and be a part of the new game show McManusLand!

Bridget's hosting this new audience participation game show starring a wonderful group of talented improv performers. The performers and the audience win prizes and, most likely, she'll do a couple of splits.

There are only 5 shows and tickets are selling fast. The shows are November 11 thru 15th at the Stage 33. After each show there will be a fabulous after party with drinks, karaoke and hopefully table dancing (well, that's just something Bridget's hoping for).

    So excited that Bridget is coming to Chicago- the show will be so freaking funny.  I hope chicago will show Bridget some love and come to the show!

    never heard of LP before this, but i'll look her up now. i heard that snake story before, theres probly a bunch of that same story going around. but apparently this girl that went to a school near where i live had that happen to her.

    Awesome episode! I've been a fan of L.P. since I heard "Wasted" in SoN. The Dance Magic number with Cat Davis was hilarious and Neanderlez was... J I'm going to tell the snake story to all my friends. I shouldn't be the only one with the opportunity to be deeply disturbed fascinated by it.   

    Keep up the awesomeness!

    ZOMG who is this L.P chick? I've never heard of her until I saw this episode! Yes it seems I do live under a rock. Freakin hell I'm so checkin her out now. Grahhh this is the first time I've heard and seen her and she's already blowin my mind away

    God I love LP's voice. I think everytime I watch her in something she inspires me to walk out to the street with my crazy mop of curly hair, but then the coward in me unleashes and I run back home and tame the craziness with lotsa serum and hair drying.

    *sigh*

    and dude...Bridget, whats with the snake story?! I dont think I'll be able to sleep tonight.

    Hey, you know Bridget, i stopped watching your show almost a year ago, after watching it a-l-l the time... maybe i got bored back then, or maybe even you got bored and it kind of showed somehow... the thing is, that you amazingly re-invented yourself here, your show is brilliant, shining, funny and full of girl power!  It's good to see your wild and funky mind in action again :-)
