This week Bridget welcomes the ridiculously talented filmmakers Tina Mabry and Morgan Stiff, the women behind the award-winning film Mississippi Damned. The real-life couple discuss the inspiration behind the film and admit to some childhood hijinks in a high-stakes game of Truth or Dare.
And of course, it wouldn't be the new and improved Brunch without the fancy footwork of Dance Magic.

I love Brunch.
All good things must come to an end
Whilst I like the new segments, i dont like the camera angles - the fact it only pans on either guest or presenter and not both. I miss the intimacy of the bed and the pillows fights.
The original concept was genuis this new format is just like every other show out there. In fact, the pj's seem redundant now
Thank god there are 78 awesome previous episodes (not overkeen on ep 3) that i can watch again

Behind the Jazz Hands: Dance Magic!!!
The story of a dance troupe that was destined to be mediocre but had the heart and courage to become greater.
Loved by millions, Dance Magic brought their unique brand of interpretive dance and social commentary to packed houses. At the height of their fame, they redefined the meaning of dance and magic.
But drugs and violent rivalry sent the group into a death spiral of wretched rock-bottomness. Losing fame, fortune, and (in some cases) fingers, Dance Magic disbanded.
However, the spark never completely died (unlike the forgotten 5th member). The magic still remained, and Dance Magic once again found themselves before a crowd. Granted, it was a prison riot. The power and transcendence of Dance Magic subdued the angry mob, and the troupe was reborn.
I have to say that I'm
I have to say that I'm enjoying the new format. As much as I loved the old one, it was getting..a little stale. I hate to say it like that, but yeah. I think the new format has brought a spark back into BWB. I also love that it allows you to showcase more talent then before. Having That's What She Said be the house band, having Daniel/Cat/Fortune on as Dance Magic, and occasional special guests like the singer from last week. I'm a fan of that.
Looooooved it!!!
