This week, Bridget welcomes to Brunch the director of But I'm A Cheerleader and Itty Bitty Titty Committee, Jamie Babbit (and Jamie's adorable daughter too).

Babbit talks about her new project with Guinevere Turner, breaking into the entertainment industry, and why lesbian films matter.

Same as a couple people before me, I can't play this. It's the second week running and happens to all videos coming from Logo. Page goes straight to replay option.
Has never happened before the last 2 weeks and is frustrating as I wanna see this!
connecting... initializing media... connecting... replay
Srsly.
Got it to work
Sorry!
yeah for trying to fix it
Bridget was really patient with Ryder
After all the times Bridget said she didn't like kids, I think she handled that pretty well. Plus I was totally expecting her to pull something inappropriate out of the drawers while you guys weren't looking.

LOL that's what I was thinking as well!
Ryder is so cute, I was distracted all the time. I love Jamie for what she's doing and for speaking her mind.
GREAT INTERVIEW
I love Jamie Babbitt's movies.....I had no idea that 10 people somewhere in California determine the fate of a film by its rating...that process sucks and needs to be changed immediately.
Jamie...keep making the great films....you are teriffic!!!!!
Loved little Ryder...so cute and so very well behaved.
Well behaved but distracting (in a good way)
Great interview.
Ryder reminded me of Boo (Monsters Inc.) when she started singing...

BWB
Thanks for interviewing Jamie B. It is sad men still rule film buisness. I do find it interesting Jamie didn't go to film school but still made it. Ryder is too cute and adorable.
I think I saw Bridget at
I think I saw Bridget at Pike Place Market in Seattle with a woman who was buying flowers. I would've told her that she was totally awesome but I wasn't completely sure that it was her and I was with my sisters.
On another note, Jamie was adorable!
!!!
cute
JAMIE BABBIT!
yay!
a couple of hours pressing play/refresh really paid off! jamie was really intersting and ryder was so cute, bridget amazing as always :D one of the best brunch's.
Aww Bridget is good with
Aww Bridget is good with kids afterall...especially if they're this well-behaved, lol. I was a little worried when it started, but what a cute girl.
I saw that movie 'This Film is Not Yet Rated'....unbelievable how they come up with the ratings. It's absurd, really. The 'Cheerleader' movie was extremely tame compared with, like Jamie said, 'American Pie' or any other typical guy movie.
I loved this episode.
I loved this episode. But I'm a Cheerleader is one of my favorite movies and I like Itty Bitty Titty Committe so it's cool to see the director. Ryder is sooo cute, I couldn't stop watching her. She really does look like little Cindy Lou Who!

This Film Is Not Yet Rated
This Film Is Not Yet Rated is a great documentary. Everybody should see it to better understand how a small, secret, unaccountable group controls what films we get to see. (E.g., Ratings affect advertising and promotion budgets.)
I love But I'm a Cheerleader, and it's crazy that it ever got an NC-17 rating. At most, I could maybe see giving it a PG-13.
Definitely looking forward to the next femme fatale...
Awww
Awww how cute is her little girl, she looks so much like my little sister with the very blonde hair. Except my little sister would have bounced around for the whole time. :)
Not working...
Great episode... what an

Sort it out AE!!!
I've used the subject title before - but with love.
Once again I can't watch the episode because of 'player issues'. Speaking as someone who only really visits the site to watch Bridget and Cat (and then will occasionally surf onto other VLOGs and maybe even the forum), I'm finding myself visiting less and less. I actually caught myself thinking "will it work?"when trying to play this, and not being totally surprised when it didn't. I'm sure I'll be back at a later date to catch up on the two of them (who could resist?) but the time I spend on the site is ever decreasing.
I don't post this as a rant against the admins, as I'm sure they're doing all they can, but rather to highlight that I - and statistically many others - will gradually drift away from the site. This is a problem that has been going on for months and really needs resolving sooner rather than later for the good of the site.
Again, this really isn't a tirade against the admins (despite how it sounds) just a venting af frustration and concern.
We're painfully aware of this...
...and just as frustrated as you are all the problems with the player. Since they seem to keep happening, and we can't resolve them, I've asked most of the vloggers to start uploading their videos to reliable online video sharing sites like Veoh, DailyMotion and FunnyorDie. So starting next week, you should start seeing that happen more.
Thanks for the thoughtful feedback, and sorry for all the frustration - I hope this solution works for you and the others who have been having problems with the player.
Finally managed to watch it.
Excellent interview and some really great insights into 'the industry'. I've loved Jamie Babbit ever since the days of Popular and 'But I'm a Cheerleader' is definitely one of my top ten all-time favourite films.
I downloaded Firefox just so that I could watch this episode of BWB.
