This week, Bridget has the pleasure of brunching with one of the stars of Exes & Ohs, actress and singer Marnie Alton.

Marnie talks about her illustrious career, which has included working with Jean-Claude Van Damme and a shocking number of both kissing and death scenes!

The thespian talks about growing up in rural Canada, her worship of Joni Mitchell and also dishes about being the resident " tongue-tress" on Exes & Ohs.

    That was a really fun episode, I LOL-ed a lot, especially about all the stunt tongue nonsense.

    Marnie is pretty awesome. Can't wait for Season 2 of Exes and Ohs.

    Marnie! I've missed her so much, thanks for having her on the show Bridget! This episode was fantastic, you two are both so bubbly ang giggly that the show was about a billion times happier with you together. A very nice way to start off my Sunday.

    I was super glad when I checked to see who was on Brunch and to my surprise and delight, the super adorable, hilarious, and gifted actress/singer Marnie Alton. Bridget, you just made my Sunday complete, thank you!

    i really liked the episode and i'm really looking forward to see the second season of exes and ohs.

    ok, so just if anybody is wondering, the nickname marnie uses for her mom is german and "muschi" means pussy :)

    but i don't know if there is any other word that is pronounced the same way and means something totally different :D

    Baumhaus, even though muschi might be slang for pussy in German *ooooh wie geil;)* the whole word mamushki is very Easteuropean. I am East-euro myself, so I know this by heart. Marnie is right, thinking of Ukraine, but it would work anywhere east of Berlin..

    Mamushka-Mamunia-Mamusia-Mamusienka-Matrioshka - all those are affectionate variants of the word mum - they all mean *little sweet mother* just like babushka means little sweet grandmother.. We tend to take normal nouns like mama, baba (grandmother), joz (hedgehog), woda (water) or kon (horse) and diminish them, making them *smaller* therefore cuter - mamushka, jozik, wodka, konik etc. It can never be small or cute enough for us emotional weirdos in the East. Yes, vodka means little water. Zdrówko! German has it too.. Trabi, pulli, mutti etc.

    And what Marnie says is actually plural - little cute motherS :)

    It's official you still make me blush.  I can't stop smiling.  I was at a friends house when I saw that you were on BwB.  I sped the three hours home so I could watch this epi asap.  So worth it.
