Brunch with Mariah Hanson (Brunch with Bridget, Episode 54)

This week, Bridget welcomes guest Mariah Hanson, the Godfather of The Dinah.

For those of you who are Dinah virgins, Hanson is the amazing promoter who delivers the biggest lesbian event in the nation each year in Palm Springs, California. (And for all you Dinah hos, well, you know who you are.)

This year, the Dinah will be April 1-5, and Hanson has amassed an impressive array of talent for it. She tells Bridget all about the excitement she has planned for all who attend this year. (For a full listing of Dinah events, click here.)

Hanson also talks to Bridget about the basics of skiing, perfecting a Greek salad, being a lousy waitress, and why it isn't weird to have a room in your house devoted to art depicting you with your various ex-girlfriends. Nope, not weird at all.

    The part with the snow skiing in bed was hilarious...

    ...so is the idea of an ex-girlfriends room. Then again, I don't really think it's that big a deal as long as the portraits are not in the bedroom or something...

    Great show as always Bridget. I wish i could go to Dinah this year but i livet far way so i cant go but I wish you all a great week at dinah :)

    Thanks for the great show you put out each week.  The last two weeks you have had the sexiest women who really turned me on.  One of my wishes before I die is to attend the Dinah.  Keep up the good work.

    don't we have girlfest that is held in queensland every year over the australia day long  weekend, i have read that the promoters got the idea from dinah shore when they visited a few years ago, and i also read that this year could be the last for girlfest for a while unless they find more sponsors that are willing to sponsor it

    That was a great episode!! Mariah Hanson is Greek?!!?!!? Wow!!!! Really excited to hear that. Now that's one more reason to plan to attend Dinah one day hopefully in the near future.

    And, Bridget, so as to solve the "mystery" of the greek salad, you make it with tomatoes, cucumber, green peppers, olives, feta cheese, onions, salt, oregano and olive oil. I heard something about ginger? Well that 's NOT an ingredient of the typical greek salad but i'm sure there are variations. I hope you'll try making it or even better come to Greece for the summer and try it here.

    And the Advanced P. E. is doing you VERY good. Not that you weren't a hottie before, but your arms are looking mighty toned :) very sexy! Sorry Karman, but she's super attractive, not that you didn't know <3  

    And heck yes Mariah for being a terrible waitress, that's why I stick to doing fountain and grill at Friendly's! ugh. resturants.

    I've never been to Dinah before and I must admit I'm a little scared to go.  MAriah seems really nice so I dont know what I'm afraid of.  Maybe the way the LWord showcased the event is clouding my mind.

    If you haven't been to the Dinah, you have to go at least once! It's soooo much fun, and there are so many hot women:-) Mariah is right about pacing yourself, I over did it on partying my first night, and had to suck it up the rest of the weekend lol Being at pool side is a must..sexy women in bikinis are not to be missed. Dinah was the funnest 4 days of my life, so go if you can! Great vlog Bridget..oh and the ex-girlfriend paintings would never fly with me. I'm not one of those "all my ex's are my best friends" lesbians..nuh uh!

    Will be Uh Huh her! Can't believe she didn't mention them! Really wish I could go to Dinah Shore but that would mean flying from Ireland to America...um, that would be very expensive!

    Bridget you are so funny.  I loved watching you and Mariah doing the two-step.

    The thoughts of a Greek Salad make me hungry.  I have never had ginger in any of the Greek salads around here though. Just lots of oregano.  Since it is almost midnight it is toooo late to eat. 

    I know you all will have a great time in Palm Springs.
