Brunch with Shimmy (Brunch with Bridget, Episode 30)

This week, Bridget invites to her bed the lovely, talented and funny Cathy Shim. While Cathy has done pretty much everything (had a band, acted in Reno 911!, appeared in an Eminem video) you may know her best for her role as Roxie in the lesbian web series 3Way.

This episode starts out with a friendly jigsaw puzzle challenge but the whole thing quickly turns into a play date from Hell.

Cathy's suitcase full of stuffed animals were a lovely addition to the show, but we're not sure why she thought it was a good idea to bring actual weaponry to Brunch. (Bridget can hurt herself with a pillow, so why should she be trusted with a sword?)

    posted super early this week...

     

    the odd shaped puzzle pieces are called whimsies, originally the people making puzzles would get bored and cut out shapes like pigs horses or boats usually they have something to do with the puzzle and they are pretty cool when you find them.

    puzzle multitask incident? lol and bridget great top, btw have u lost weight ? sure looks like it.

    The bunny is cheap so i might consider it when desperate. Great, awesome & hilarious and slightly disturbing again! LOVE IT!

    What a hilarious brunch...Cathy Shim was so fun to watch and so sweet...

    What i thought was really sweet was how Cathy Blushed about Bridget's wet top...Cathy being a straight girl....Bridget's boobs damn near popped out during the CPR she was doing on Beary bear...that top was just soooo distracting...loved it but....having a full on blush for 25+ minutes gave me a headache...Love you Bridget!

    Now I can go back to sleep and have really sweet dreams now...bridget and her bouncy boobs!

    HA! I was TOTALLY thinking the same thing! I was mesmerized and yet a little scared. That top was... so damned lucky it held on. Good craftsmanship that!

    this was such a funny ep...bridget and cathy shim are hilarious and having them in bed together? HOT! baby bridget is so lucky..i'm a little jealous...of her and mr. bear...i mean i want bridget to give me mouth to mouth...and DAMN that fan!! *sigh* lol...

    This was hands down the  best episode ever, at least for me it was. I think cathy might just have a tad of a crush on you bridget lol. But seriously, you two are toooo funny together. Cathy is amazing and I'm so glad i got to know a little more about her. Bridget haha i was not expecting you to actually take your top off but thank you so much for doing so lol.

     All i can say is please bridget, have cathy on the show again. I don't care if you two decide to try crocheting socks, I'm sure it will be great lol

    best episode ever!!!! not good to watch this at 3 in the morning. i'm almost certain i woke my parents up. i was trying so hard not to laugh out loud but needless to say i failed miserably. cathy you're hilarious! and bridget wow... i'm speechless. just freakin AWESOME!!!

    I loved her facial expression after Cathy said "sorry I got you wet" lol that was priceless!

    What did Cathy call the WWE...something about the "wilderness"! Hilarious

    And Bridget's swords were cute "small but mighty" lol

    It could be the intoxication (on my part) or the wetness or the hotness but, this was one fantastic Brunch. Definately top 10. Cathy (Shimmy, if I may) was an excellent guest. I was waiting for her to be on Brunch since that quickie with Dara because we hadn't seen her on a vlog. It's nice getting the chance to get to know the awesomeness that is Ms. Shim.

    And, Bridget, thanks for getting nakey. Yay for no emergency room visits due to this vlog.

    BwB is the perfect way to end a drunken weekend.

    This episode was one of the funniest! Cathy Shim rocks!!! She's hysterical. There's too many things that made me laugh to list all of them, but just thank you for the Sunday morning laugh ladies :). Wow!

    Oh my GOD, this was hysterical. Cathy wins at life for getting Bridget wet AND naked. On her bed. Just sayin'.

    The puzzle and the toys and the swords. And the scuba gear (WTF?). It was all so random and hilarious, this definitely goes in the top 3 brunches.

    I think Ill jump on this already crowded bandwagon and say that this has been the greatest BWB so far!

    Cathy Shim with her cute stuffed animals, the awsome body slam and the pouring of water over Bridget's head; GENIUS! It really is suprising that Bridget wasnt the one cut in this ep. Not to say that she's accident prone, but she's just always bleeding for some reason. The blue-green mini skirt was great.

    I never wanted to be a fan so much in my life! You lucky lucky fan you!

    Its a rare and impressive occcurence, but it's happened before!.. I remember being impressed with Liz's wrestler type move which earned her her victory.. not sure if anyone else has won against Bridget

    edit: re-watched Liz' episode (all of it by mistake) and she refers to the as 'american gladiator' moves

    I thought the swords and spear and stick was awesome-o (Cathy's toys + stories were very entertaining) but Bridget in a fan... Very distracting :)

    And yeah, I wonder too how the camera person manages not to laugh. It might be Karman... cause she seems like she can hold back her laughter especially during the WGN L word reenactments.

    Oh man, that was one weird episode. You guys are insane.

    I have tears in my eyes from laughing so much. It especially cracked me up when Cathy was wrestling her teddybear.

    Oh and having an entire cup of water emptied over your head...Who does that?

    After a great concert last night (Amos Lee) to wake to BWB is the icing on the cake!

    What's a girl to say? There's never a BWB that doesn't make me smile and laugh (this one did that and more) and I can honestly say that my Sundays are never complete without BWB!

    Bridget and Cathy together is a recipe for a whole lot of fun and crazy antics... and I love it!
