AfterEllen.com visits the set of "Venice"

I've been looking forward to this web series ever since AE first reported it. I cannot wait to watch it and hopefully see slightly more...passion between Crystal and Jessica! If their chemistry on Venice is as good as it was on GL then I think we're all in for a treat!

I'm totally going to watch the series but I'm bummed that Keener got sick. 

I hope this does well.  It has received wonderful media attention and if this does well the future of web-series looks great!

I have to have some (satisfying) outlet for my Otalia-interuptus viewing habit. (It's a reflex, so excuse me: "FU CBS")

I have high hopes for this one, because clearly everyone's heart is in the right place. But I've been burnt so often in how gay women are portrayed in Big Media that I'm adding a dash of "we'll see" for self protection. But yeah, I'm definitely there.

I look forward to all the other actors, but I also hope that there is enuf Leccia/Chappell interaction in this. Let's face it, their chemistry together is a big pull here. I only hope actor's schedule and script direction allow for a good dose of those two. Together. With more than forehead shagging.

I'm definitely tuning in... this is a great cast of actors and actresses.

I was so sorry to see GL end, and with it the end of Otalia, but this will perhaps help to soften the blow that CBS gave GL and Otalia fans, plus we (from what I have read) will finally get a real kiss between Crystal and Jessica, which I am fairly certain will have clever YouTubers and Fan Fiction writers ready to take these new characters and run with them!

I really can't wait for Venice.

I'm trying to not over burden the show with my expectations, but having all of these people just conspire and whip this up..wowza..no words.

I love, that the creative freedom plays such a big part on the show, and I'm not a Communist, per se, but I love, that everyone is doing this out of dedication instead of dough.

Dedication to Lesbian visibility, wanting to give back to the fans, or just wanting to tell a good story, and be an actor or actress.

Really gives me hope..especially after the Maine desaster and the such..

I definitely want to check it out, but this is strickly on the web, right? I bookmarked the site when AE mentioned it awhile ago. Am I correct in that it will be aired online only?

Please let me know so that I don't miss it. This might be the first T-giving I look forward to in years!

I simply can't wait! I've been following all the news surrounding Venice, I check on the website all the time and I keep up with everything on Facebook. The stills and the latest pictures are so beautiful!

I was actually gonna write to AE and ask for something on the show, cause you hadn't mentioned it much so far. Otalia had such an amazing chemestry, and I'm so anxious as to how those new characters are gonna play out. I sense a lot of angst between their characters, and I'm loving it!

It has been the most amazing thing to be so involved in each step of the Venice process.  The open communication, the willingness to take the fans along for the ride has been so awesome and I can't wait to see what they deliver.  The Giani pic is just to die for, I stared at it for a full 5 mins (while at work, thank-you Team V) and have it as my wallpaper. *Sigh*

couldn't keep me from watching this. Considering the amount of drool that has collected on my chin, keyboard & remote upon viewing the hotness of last week (or the months of Otalia or the last 10 years of La Chappell on GL), it would be absurd if I didn't.

I respect them so much for what they're doing, i think its going to be really well done and represent us very well. looking forward to it soo much!

Plus! They are ALL hotties, like seriously ALL of them, cant really go wrong now really.

Two predictions about Venice:

1) It will have the most sensual, hottest lesbian kisses ever.

2) Crystal Chappell and company will deservedly be at the top of the next AE Hottest 100 Women list.
