Natalie Dormer jumps into "Masterwork"

Actress Natalie Dormer, famous for her role as Anne Boleyn on The Tudors, just landed a new gig as an MI-5 agent on Fox’s drama pilot Masterwork.

And all I can say about that is: hot. British accent? Secret agent? Girls kicking ass? Sign me up!

We already know Natalie Dormer is gorgeous. I mean, she had to be in order to play Anne Boleyn. The woman was so sexy that the king of England took the world to the brink of chaos just to sleep with her. (Take that, Helen of Troy!) But aside from being stunning, Miss Dormer, in my humble opinion, is a legitimately good actress. Her performance in The Tudors was layered, complex and, um, hot.

In Masterwork, she’ll play an MI-5 agent who teams up with a male FBI agent on a globetrotting hunt for the world’s most sought after artifacts. Sounds very Indiana Jones meets Nick and Nora Charles — or for you Brangelina fans, Mr. and Mrs. Smith.

Let’s hope Fox makes the right call and picks this up. We need more tough, smart, sexy, adventurous British women on the boob tube.

    YES YES YES! Ok, I just read that whole article ALOUD! while trying to control my excitement! Uhhhh...I'm a fan? =P

    I would've loved to have seen a photo ^ with her red hair! I mean she looks good in just about any hair color. I'm thinking if she tried purple or blue, she'll still pull it off.

    Her acting chops in The Tudors (s1-2) was very impressive. She made Anne Boleyn loveable damn it!

    To Fox: *goes down on both knees* C'mon, you guys have to pick up this show!

    I literally squealed when I read this. I LOVE Natalie Dormer and was so excited to see that AE has picked up on her amazingness. Her work in The Tudors was simply phenomenal, and I can't wait to see this new show.

     I think I'll go off and watch my Tudors DVDs now. :)

    Oh I love Natalie Dormer, and The Tudors as well. If this series had been shown during history classes back in my school days, I'm sure peeps would have been alot more interested and attentive in classes when learnng about this time period than they originally were. And I agree with what someone said above that she looked gorgeous as the naughty dark haired Ann Boleyn.

    natalie dormer=hot? really??? she has the strangest wonk face i've ever seen, although i do give her credit for her role in the tudors. she did ambitious and power hungry very well.
