Lindsay Lohan is tired of rumors starting

I've ABSOLUTELY no interest of IT(read:trashy) girls like Paris Hilton or whoever that's popular out there now...But I always have a thing for Lindsay, just like Karman do i guess hahha.

And I'm totally rooting for Sam and Lindsay r/s..haha. Just want the best for my girl Lindsay...

The media frenzy around Lilo and SamRo is weird. I thought that the paparazzi put major focus on the celebs that have projects out, did something scandalous, etc. Lindsay seems to be just taking it easy and supporting her girlfriend while she works. It's sad that Journalism has gone to rumours and trying to destroy people's lives.

Michael K. nailed it on the head today when he said that their blogs sound like unhappy tween gals bitchy about something or other.

Why do they even dignify the rumors with a response? If they hate the paps so much, then why don't they just let everyone think they're broken up? Maybe they wouldn't be stalked as much if everyone assumed they were no longer a couple.

It's a little disconcerting that Perez got so much mention in this blog. The more press he gets, the more powerful he gets and I, for one, think that's a bad thing.

I'm in the UK, and purely out of boredom I saw some of "The most annoying people of 2008", and Ronson was one of them. One of the talking heads said something along the lines of "Lindsay Lohan shouldn't be a lesbian. It's okay if the ugly ones want to be like that, but if they're young and attractive they should be kept for the men".

 It's probably partly that the tabloids/rumour-mongers want her to be available so they can keep on speculating about her, which is a lot less fun if someone's in a happy relationship, and men can pretend they have a chance with her again, and partly because she was in the public eye before due to self-destructive behaviour and she's still seen as 'fair game'.

Someone expressing admiration for the repulsive Michael K. and DListed on a lesbian/bi female site is like a gay man sending love letters to Rick Warren. That goes for supporting Ted Casablancas and Perez Hilton too.  Just because a man is gay does not mean some won't hold up lesbianism for ridicule the same way a backwards thinking straight person would.  Just as we have many straight allies, we have gay men (thank goodness not too many) that for one reason or another, are disgusted by the notion of a feminine woman choosing a woman over a man.  To certain bloggers/vloggers, all lesbian and bi women that look classically feminine are "Anne Heches" (a common name brought up by Casablancas) that will turn to men at the first opportunity.  Their commentary regarding us is no different and no less degrading than Mr. Ron Jeremy's.  In fact Jeremy's stuff pales in comparison to the vitriol unloaded on Dlisted.  Plus if one is looking for exclusive scoop and one thinks that their scoop is dead on, that person is way off.

i think it's because people have no respect for lohan and think she's a joke - i think it's also because they know (just like paris hilton) that she likes and wants the attention. i remember seeing a show on larry king about the paparazzi and they said that lohan calls them and tells them where she's going and that if she wanted to avoid the paparazzi, she could, but she stays in that little pap-filled circle in LA.

at least by bloggin about it, she puts the speculation to rest, which to me, shows that maybe she doesn't want the attention - if she did, wouldn't it be better to let them speculate? 

anyhow, my main problem with these gossip bloggers and others is their vehement anti-lesbianism, especially the venom coming from gay male gossip bloggers, such as ms. hilton. 

Hey.  This is my first time posting.  Wassup?

Not quite sure why these bloggers are being described as anti-lesbian.  Isn't it the nature of what some of these bloggers do to take hits at celebrities, regardless of their sexuality?  I would think if a heterosexual male celebrity who is known for sleeping around with a lot of women, suddenly claimed he was in love and in a monogamous relationship, the blogger would probably mock the relationship and say some prediction about this guy breaking the woman's heart and sleeping with someone else.  If a comment like this is said about someone like Lindsay Lohan (who dates men and women) it doesn't necessarily mean it's an anti-lesbian comment, but more of a comment mocking Lindsay herself due to the fact that she has this reputation for having slept with a lot of guys.  (however true these "reputations" are) 

Bottom line, just because the comment is mocking someone who is a lesbian doesn't necessarily mean the blogger is anti-lesbian.  The same comments may have been said about a heterosexual couple.  Maybe the blogger is just anti-THAT person.  Haha.  Which is ridiculous, but hopefully you see what I'm saying.

 P.S.  Nathiest....wondering why you're so angered by LethalBlossom mentioning that she has found a blogger whose posts are basically revealed to be 99% accurate?  She's not saying the blogs are her bible, but more that she's noticed TC usually posts things that are later revealed to be true.  Can you explain why that makes you so angry?  I'm genuinely interested. 

LethalBlossom, Your decision to applaud and defend what is, imo, virulently anti-lesbian rhetoric is your choice.  I said it is the same as a gay male sending love letters to Rick Warren because I feel it is.  Rick Warren looks down on gay relationships in the same way your idols look down on femmes being in relationships with women.  If you think that is personal so be it.  You've got a right to support gay men who use the word "dyke" like it is going out of business, who think all femmes are "Anne Heche's" (a name brought up repeatedly - and not just for Lohan - by Casablancas), make up hateful nicknames for them, and make constant jokes about women in same sex relationships needing penis.  If Hilton spelling Samantha as "SaMANtha" does not bother you or if Ted Casablancas calling them the "Dykey Duo" does not bother you or Michael K. stating that Lohan is hugging Ronson because she mistook Ronson for a penis does not bother you that is your business (yes that is really this guy's level of humor).  However I wonder if the same would go for them if they said such things about any other minority besides gay men and lesbians.  At least when they rag on a gay man they can say they are one.  However that, of course, is no defense when it comes to their attacks on lesbians and bisexual women.    

Ted Casablancas's information is very limited by the way.  Dressing up one's posts in a faux-Parker Tyler wannabe style and occasionally throwing out a blind item that anyone already knows from any other site (or by being in the general LA or NY area) is hardly anything earth shattering.  There has never been one single thing that I found out from Ted Casablancas that was not already known.  To be fair Perez Hilton occasionally gets a scoop but worshiping Ted Casablancas is blind worship. 

By the way I made sure to use some of their least offensive remarks. These people are reprehensible.  They may think they are the new Kenneth Anger's but they are spiteful and exceptionally mean people.  To each their own if you enjoy that crap. 

Lindsay says she NOT bisexual, but i guarantee you let her meet THIS woman, and she would be more than welcome to let the public know she is NOT only gay for Samantha Ronson.

im a huge fan of this couple,.i mean i think they look so freaking cute and in love...and to be honest i think the had a huge fight...but hey..all couples fight..i think its so freaking hard to had a relationship in the public eye...so they have my kuddos.... i think they did not break up..just need time to think ..and people should just let them be..we dont know what happend in their relatioship...but 4 what im abble to see they look happy and in love..so--go rohan:P--and fuck the media---

It's time for Miss Lohan to get her dyke rock groove on and cover Melissa.
