Gina Gershon to carry a badge on "Numb3rs"

I do not like math so I have never had any interest in watching the CBS show Numb3rs. The show is about an FBI agent who enlists the help of his mathematical genius brother in order to solve crimes is apparently popular with people who don't have to pull out their cell phones to calculate appropriate tips at restaurants — and crime show aficionados. (Not me.)

But Gina Gershon will guest star in mid-March, so maybe, just maybe, I'll tune in.

Gershon (forever and ever "Corky," whether she likes it or not), who recently starred in Broadways's Boeing-Boeing, will play a detective (lady cop alert!) investigating a crime boss accused of killing a district attorney. Sexy.

The only thing that could make this role sound any better is if she were guesting as Mariska Hargitay's new partner on Law and Order: SVU. Sorry Gershon, but when you play gay a handful of times, we can't help but be confused — or hopeful.

The episode featuring Gershon as detective Danielle Hill will air March 13. Will you watch it, even if you're not a Numb3rs person?

    I never watch Numb3rs. In fact i severely dislike Numb3rs. And as my mother is such a big fan of it im sure she will be totally surprised when i take a sudden interest to it in Mid-march.

    I love Gina Gershon. I even liked her in Showgirls.  As terrible as that film was, it's become a cult classic and had some definite some queer moments. I wonder if she's ever talked about being somewhat of a lesbian icon?

    She looks FABULOUS in the middle picture with the black dress!  I've never seen Numb3rs. In fact, I rarely watch t.v. at all, but given this news, I might just be compelled to start!

    What's up with Numbers this spring? Haven't watched the show since the pilot but this one and the upcoming John Cabrera (from GG!) epi I will watch. Hmm.

    ...but I'm probably the only lesbian in the history of ever to loathe the movie Bound. Corky's resemblence to guys I went to high school with is too much for comfort.

    I've never seen an ep of Num3rs. Maybe I'll check it out.

    I've seen a couple of episodes and the show it's alright.  I'll watch this episode for sure - I love Gina.

    If you're going to write an article about Numb3rs, you should start with a picture of the current cast, instead of season 1.  I haven't watched since Diane Farr left, but I still know who's missing from that picture and who doesn't belong.  Sabrina Lloyd left after season 1 and now Dylan Bruno and Sophie Brown are main cast members.

    Hmm, I love crime shows and I love math. Somehow, I could never get interested in Numb3rs.

    Something about the show just never "clicked" with me and I'm a Math and Science nerd all day! Since Gershon is guest starring, I'll have to tune in.

    I'm a Numb3rs fan, it's actually a very clever show, I just wish I understood some of the math they use.  I would watch it with or without Gershon.  She's not a particular fave of mine.

    three things I really love.  Gina in Bound...whoa!  I loved that movie!  Gina was, is, so hot!  Loved it  her!

     Numbers is a great show...love it, have watched all these seasons...hopefully, they will keep Gina around....however, probably not since Rob Morrows' character, Don Epps, is dating the current DA and I am sure they will want to keep his lady love on the show.

     Also, I would love to see Gina as Mariska Hargitay's partner...bye Elliott Stabler...on SVU!  another show we love.

    i always thought Gina Gershon looks like she has too many teeth to fit her mouth?
