Once more with feeling, yet again, "Buffy" fans

It’s been off the air for a few years, but Buffy lives on for many of us. Give your fantasies a soundtrack and get the newly released Buffy the Vampire Slayer: The Score.

There are 29 tracks of scores from Seasons 2 through 5, including the Emmy-winning “Massacre” from Season 2’s “Becoming.” These emotional scores are composed by Christophe Beck, and feature guitar, viola, woodwinds and vocals. Slap this on your iPod, dress up in your best Buffy wear and defend against the forces of darkness, or at least look mysterious and nibble on your girlfriend’s neck. (Hey, light a few candles and you could get lucky.)

Seriously, if you’re a big Buffy fan, you need this collection from Rounder. C’mon, I know you already own Once More With Feeling and all of the DVDs.

How ‘bout it, Buffy fans? Do you plan to get the soundtrack?

    WHOA! I am all over this one!?!?

    I seriuosly own buffy everything...please, my username is btvsobsession!!?!

    No, really.  I'm majoring in music in school right now and this would be an awesome CD to have.  Christophe Beck wrote some amazing scores throughout the seven seasons... if you've ever watched Buffy at all or have any kind of passion for music: this is the CD for you. Go. Buy now.

    ...I ordered this as soon as I heard about it from Whedonesque.com (my 2nd favourite website after AfterEllen). I think it's a must-have for any serious Buffy fan.  Christophe Beck's music played an integral part on the show, and there are some seriously beautiful tracks there.  Can't wait to receive it.

    Definately buying this. I'm a huge Buffy fan...sadly this means I do go around singing "Once more, with feeling" lyrics from time to time but hey, I'm amongst friends so it's not so bad admitting it lol.

    Loved the score throughout the series, so am well chuffed about this cd. :)

    I LOVE Christophe Beck's works.  He did an amazing job with the score throughout the series and I can't wait to have it in my Buffy collection.

    "Once More With Feeling" is a CD staple in my house.  I constantly play it.....and still LOVE it!

    I am getting this tonight. I love all things Buffy, I have the whole collection and I am even buying and actually reading the comics (first time in my life I've owned a comic book). Whenever I want to introduce a friend to the goodness that is BtVS I play them "Hush," "The Body" and "Once More With Feeling," all beautifully scored by Beck.

    I agree with you, Introducing new fans with Hush or Once More With Feeling. But the body? hehe, I love that episode so much. The way that it has absolutley no backing music makes it even more phenominal. The actors make up for the build up in tension that the absent music normaly would. One of my favourite episodes. Good choice =]

    I have a friend who hates horror, because it scares who too much. As a result she would never watch BtVS. After some coaxing I convinced her to watch an ep of Buffy with me, I told her there was so much more to the show then fright. So I pop in "The Body" because it required the least amount of back story on my part... I start the DVD and Karrie says to me, "I know you love this show, so don't worry about it if you cry." I'm like, "ok thanks," with a small grin. Five minutes later I look at her and she is in tears. I know it is a bit off topic her to talk about no soundtrack but, I don't think I have seen a LACK of music used so dramatically.

    And I'm supposed to be curving my spending and saving money for necessities.

    I just bought the CD. Just now. Right after I read the first paragraph.

    AfterEllen....I love you. Now I must update my iPod for the car ride. :D

    Did I mention that I bought the BTVS VIDEO GAME yesterday? I found it on a sale rack and FREEEAKED out. Yes, I am a doofus.

    So Jenn, you might be interested to know that they are developing a NEW BtVS video game. It should be coming out some time this fall or winter!

    By the way, I am very jealous you found that older video game. I can't find it around here anywhere.

    Hell, no.

    Sounds like a waste of money to me.

    I heart Buffy, but what am I supposed to do with just the score? Use it as background music to my life?

    BtVS Once More with Feeling fan!

    It is my secret shame...and I've been to 2 singalongs. It's geektastic magic.

    Also, when I was at comic-con, I ALMOST bought the prop replica of the Buffy scythe....but then I realized that purchasing said scythe would lead to me never having sex again. Sigh.

    Decisions, decisions...
