Beyoncé and Lady Gaga get down together for a music video

Attention AfterEllen readers: The rumors are true. Beyoncé and Lady Gaga are in the same music video. I didn’t think it was possible to be this excited about a duet since Brandy and Monica did “The Boy is Mine,” but, sure enough, B invited the powerhouse pop star to take some time off from showing support for the LGBT community and make a cameo appearance in her new single “Video Phone” off of I Am…Sasha Fierce.

Can I get a hell yeah?

I think the song is pretty silly, actually (“…press record/ I’ll let you film me on your video phone”), but I love Beyoncé, and who wouldn’t be excited for two amazing divas — both known for putting on unforgettable shows — to simultaneously star in a music video?

According to MTV, the shoot was “super-secret” with no (video) phones allowed on set, but a source did reveal that the “fashion is sick and insane.” Rightly so, “Video Phone” also features “lots of choreography” and more dancers than the two you usually see in Beyoncé’s vids. Lady Gaga even adds an extra verse to the song and trades verses with Beyoncé.

I’m so excited. I love Beyoncé. I love Lady Gaga. What greater wish of mine could have been granted than this? Oh, wait; I don’t even have a video phone. I hope my Hindu mom will celebrate Christmas this year.

    I love Lady Gaga so much, I could cry, and I have nothing but respect for B. It's Christmas time.

    Uh, is this the greatest combination of two artists ever? You bet your sweet ass it is! If I could have one wish it would be for these two women to stand in the center of a room and for me to just roll on the floor in circles around them to bath in their greatness. Is that weird? No. Not at all. Not when it's Lady Gaga and Beyonce. Is that a waste of a wish? No. Sure, I could wish for something like equality for all, world peace, or even for Ilene Chaiken to be banned from the entertainment business, but why wish for those things when I could roll around Lady Gaga and Beyonce? The choice is easy.

    Ohh lord Beyonce and Shakira made up the hottest collabo EVER. Especially when you couldn't tell who was who during the dance breakdown. I died.

    I'm into anything Lady Gaga does, by default. Adding Beyonce to the mix is just the frosting on the cake, the dvd bonus features, the vodka in the orange juice.

    ok first not a real fan of gaga but shes scored an ok with me with her paparazzi song and beyonce is always awesome and video phone gets plenty of airplay in my house lol

    I just saw the video and I fell in love with it. The tune is catchy and I think they both looked amazing and were a cool contrast to one another. Lady Gaga's pale thin beauty and Beyonce's delicious curves and both their voices made it a powerhouse video to me.

    There were certain things in the vid that I found cheesy, but overall it was really cool, they made a good duo.
