Stop, or Angelina Jolie will shootThis week the trailer and stills from Angelina Jolie’s new action flick Wanted hit the web. And when I say hit, I mean sped into like a bullet. Make that a lot of bullets.
The film, costarring Morgan Freeman and James McAvoy, involves a secret society of assassins and a lot of shooting. While I can’t say I’m overly impressed with the dialogue, you really can’t beat the visuals. Angie and guns. So simple, yet so satisfying. (I recommend taking a look in hi-def here, too.) It looks kind of like a glossy mashup of The Matrix and Mr. & Mrs. Smith. The sage teacher, the veteran fighter, the unwitting everyman and a hail of bullets. Even Angie is like, hey, haven’t I seen this movie before?
Now, admittedly, I’m a sucker for a woman with a big gun. Or, better yet, a lot of big guns. Like this.

So I'll probably see this film based on Angelina’s hotness alone. How about you? Will you take the blue pill or the red pill? Wait, wrong movie. Oh, who cares, close enough.

Not like the comic
The comic was gritty and fantastic. This looks like that Vin Diesel movie about the spies which is NOTHING like the way they have adapted the comic this is based on. Despite Jolie something tells me this early media blitz is because the studio is freaked it's going to open big and then bomb in week two.
Why does Hollywood option things only to mess them up?

it's nothing like the comic book, but perhaps that's a good thing considering how truly wretched most comic book movies turn out : Hulk, Punisher, Daredevil, Electra, Fantastic Four just to name a few with obvious exceptions like: Road to Perdition(based on a graphic novel), 300 and Sin City...
I'm disappointed they swapped out the super villain concept in favour of assasins - this should definitely be bought up in the next "What were they thinking Vlog?!!", that said I'll probably be first in line when it opens...

anyways..i saw this trailer a few days ago and i was just telling a friend earlier how i literally jumped out of my chair when she shot that look at the assassin..ooooh if looks could kill..

Love Angie with a gun. Love Angie period but I really love Angie in action movies. I think the movie looks pretty good. I'm in but would I see it if Angie were not in it? Probably not, unless the chick was equally as hot as her.

Since i read about this movie i try to read the comic but i cant finish is to F....ed up to sadistic.
SPOILER ALERT ...
In the comic THE WORLD IS RULED BY SUPERVILLAINS they had kill and defiled all the superheroes and the dead are the lucky ones, and the world have been brainwashed to erase any trace of their existense. all the participants in this are amoral and the people in the street are like ants to then, in their first escene in the drugstore THE FOX (thats the name of angeline character) kill more or less 10 people (women and kids to) just to show that she can do it.
So, not like the comic thats for sure.
PD: the movie was filmed before the comics see the light of day!!!

Wanted: Angelina Jolie
Can't wait to see the movie. Yeah, she does look too skinny. Still smokin though . I looooove her eyes in this movie. I don't care if the movie is a repeat of something else. Jolie makes it all the worthwhile just to go see. Nobody complains when Tom Cruise plays the same character in a different movie.

I first saw this trailer on the myspace blog of out comedian Bridget McManus. She suggested that she worked on the movie during filming, but she isn't listed on imdb, yet (it doesn't appear to be a full listing of the cast anyways).

That man has such a cool voice he can pretty much convince me into watching any film. Though a film with Angelina Jolie and big guns its not like I'm gonna need much convicing. I just hope it has a better ending than Mr and Mrs Smith.
