Olivia Wilde rises with the Cobras to spoof "G.I. Joe"

I did not see G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra over the weekend. Amazingly, it takes more than women in skin-tight black leather to get me into the movie theater. (Shocking, I know.) Though, if the film had had Olivia Wilde in skin-tight black leather, well, ten-hut!

Olivia joins Julianne Moore, Alexis Bledel, Billy Crudup, Zach Galifiankais, Henry Rollins, Alan Tudyk and others in a new FunnyorDie.com spoof of what the G.I. Joe and Cobra forces do after hours. Just be prepared, there will be sexy clarinet.

Not since Alyson Hannigan introduced us to her flute has a woodwind instrument been so saucy.

The whole thing is a hoot and also kind of stunning. Is it just me, or is the assembled talent in these Funny or Die skits starting to become ridiculously impressive? I mean, Julianne has been nominated for an Oscar four times — four times! I half expect to see Meryl Streep pop up in one next week.

So, what do you think about the latest spoof? And, really, have you ever wanted to be a clarinet more?

    i admit it. i lol'd quite a bit. i actually saw this on another site, and totally did not realize that was olivia wilde. 

     

    and yeah, the production quality and all-around talent is amazing. definitely better than any of the crap that's supposed to pass for comedy they've been dumping on movie theatres recently.

    I woke up with no expectations for today... This video has changed the outcome of my day already.  Very funny.  Not to mention the impressive cast... is it just me or is that one guys with the very fake beard Ben Stiller??

    I feel better now because this clip made up for the fact that I was cringing through most of G.I Rise of Cobra....

     

    Sigh.

     

    I always knew Baronness  was a clarinet player...and Scarlett hated Lady Jaye...*beady eyes* I like Henry Rollins as Duke, no joke...but a shirtless Channing wins it for me...even if Henry is my intellectual man crush.

    I always figured Cobra Commander had headphones in his helme, all that genius and he loves boogie music. HAIL COBRAAAAAAA

    hilarious. and ridiculously catchy. i may or may not have just ripped the song to MP3.
    love Olivia, and honestly, this actually makes me want to see GI Joe, and not just for Channing Tatum and Joey Gordon Levitt (total boy crushes).

    i admit, i saw gi joe for the hot girls in skintight leather. joseph gordon-levitt too, he's kind of adorable. but this is totally awesome. olivia wilde is ridiculously hot, and those glasses are totally swoon-worthy. julianne moore is sort of awesome too.

    I agree glasses suit her. I am more wanting to see the Movie for

    Rachel Emily Nichols and Christopher Eccleston. Oh she was so cool as Gail, an well I have to watch everything that a Doctor is in. By law.

    Baroness was my kind of girl, black leather, long, black hair, glasses, I just swoon thinking about it.

    So to see Olivia Wilde dressing up like the Baroness is a dream come true!

    I loved G.I. Joe when I was a kid, and the movie was such a huge dissappointment (actually, the movie was bad to the point of being insulting).  This actually makes G.I. Joe fun again.  They should do the sequel.

    Let me just say that Julianne Moore makes an awesome Scarlett. Its sad that a 3 minute spoof was a more satisfying live action GI Joe experience than the movie...

     

    And bonus points for snowjob and sgt. slaughter!

    OMG, when I thought Olivia Wilde could not  be any hotter, she gets in tight leather and puts on those glasses!!!! THUD!!

    Although I think Sienna Miller is pretty hot in the movie, Olivia Wilde is totally 'THE BARONESS' with the suit and glasses. She looks a lot more like the comic than Sienna...

    But I agree, how incredibly and ridiculously star-studded those spoof are becoming...and even more shocking is that they have all but 3 second cameos!

    But going back to Olivia, please someone make a comic action movie now and cast Olivia...it soooo suits her (pun intended)!
