More stars shine for Disney and Annie Leibovitz

When you wish upon a star, if you ask nicely, they’ll dress up like Disney characters and pose for you. The second round of images from famed celebrity photographer Annie Leibovitz’s Disney ad campaign came out this week. While they're not nearly as trippy as the Beyoncé, Lyle Lovett and Oliver Platt teacup of insanity from last time, they’re even more dreamy. Like Rachel Weisz as Snow White dreamy.

I’ve got to give it to Annie: Rachel was an inspired bit of casting. In fact, seeing her commune with nature with her raven hair and milky skin, I can’t think of a single other actress that would be better for the part. Look, even Bambi agrees.

And if you thought that was good, how about Julie Andrews as the Blue Fairy (from Pinocchio) with her apprentice fairy, portrayed by Abigail Breslin? Julie can now add fairy to her illustrious list of roles, including nun, nanny and a woman pretending to be a man pretending to be a woman.

So, what do you think? Has Annie captured that Disney magic? And who else should she cast as fairy tale favorites? Kate Winslet as Sleeping Beauty? Sarah Shahi as Princess Jasmine? And as long as we’re thinking out loud here, anyone else think Angelina Jolie would make a killer Maleficent?

Fabulous

Throw any theme/subject at Annie Leibovitz and she'll capture it. Such an amazing photographer. She really did a fabulous job with the Disney theme and you're so right on with Angelina Jolie making a killer Maleficent ;)

Someone who comes to mind is Portia De Rossi as Rapunzel

Annie

Annie's a genius, no question. Yet, in comparison to the previous Disney pics, these lack that intangible ethereal essence and appear more photoshopped. You know, kind of flatter.

I love Julie so much to a point where it hurts. Man, I wish she was my Grandmother. Do you think if I asked her to adopt my mother it would work? Hmm, should probably let my mother know that Julie Andrews will be adopting her.

Awesome. Also, Rachel Weisz, the hotness.

Then again, I would be saying that, as she is my future wife and all I may be a little bit biased.

I haven't caught these pictures anywhere...true, I only subscribe to Vanity Fair.

Is there some place I can see the collection online? I'm a real fan of Annie's work.

Thanks.

Anne + Disney= Awesome

Okay this is my list. Just of the top of my head. You guys might have better ideas so feel free to share.

Jasmine (Aladdin)- Sarah Shahi --The black hair, the outfitt. I think it fits.

Anastasia- Kate Winslet --especially with that boyish hat she wears in the first part of the movie.

Sleeping Beauty- Potia de Rossi because of the long blonde hair.

Cinderella- (?) Radha Mitchell (?) I have no idea!

Snow White- Rachel Weiz--Good choice!

The little Mermaid--Ellen Paige with long red hair because she is just so damn cute!

Pocahantas- jennifer Lopez (?) Maybe.

Esmeralda (Hunchback of Notre Dame)-Salma Hayek
