Kate Moennig plays doctor in the first promo pictures for "Three Rivers"

I'll watch everything that has Kate on it, besides, I've always liked medical shows, must be the reason of why I'm on med school maybe. Anyway, is it just me or was it like seeing Shane on scrubs? That voice.... man! I love her!

When does it premiere?

I'm personally looking forward to seeing KM play an entirely different character. As someone who didn't see the appeal that Shane had, it'll be nice to see a little depth.  I think it should also be kept in mind that promo pics *always* make people look like plastic Barbie dolls...

or does she look a tad bit like lena headey?

if not in face, perhaps in aura.

it's nice to see that Kate Moennig finally looks like her hair has been washed and/or isn't loaded down with a ton of products. not everyone liked or found sexy the basically skanky look her Shane character seemed to sport in every of The L-word season.

also, as a talented and versatile actor, she shouldn't be expected to be Shane in every role. that sort of expectation aka typecasting is what's killed a lot of careers. sure some people are the same in every role, pretty much just playing themselves all the time (Jack Nicolson, for example, although he does it fantastically, but not everyone is JN).

Ugh, the dialogue is awful. It needs a script transplant. 

Good luck to Kate though, I hope it does well for her.

I know this is about Kate Moenig but DANIEL HENNEY IS IN THE SHOW?!?! I'm soooo watching it, he's my man crush lol watch Seducing Mr. Perfect and you'll know. He's all over the states now, I just hope they don't ruin him 'cause he's my favourite Korean actor!

but I don't really love the hairstyle. Not that I would expect her to keep the 'Shane' hairstyle for everything she does from now on, I just don't think this particular look is good. I obviously can't say for sure since I don't know Kate in real life, but I don't think she'd rock this hairstyle. She and this hairstyle are two different personalities. She didn't have the 'Shane' hairstyle on "Young Americans" but it was still a believable look.

but I see the Lena thing also, CZJ slightly too, but nowhere close to them being mistaken for one another

Will most probably be tuning in.

Definately not looking too Shane in those promotional pictures, but still smokin' if you ask me. I'm definately going to watch this. I think that she's a really great actress, and I love watching anything she's in, period.

It's taking place in Pittsburgh. Too bad that it's most likely not going to be filmed there, considering I live right outside of Pittsburgh. Oh, well.

I will ! definitively ! Kate is an amazing actress and 3Rs  is a great opportunity for her prooving she can play so many different characters .

I am so "gladd" that Kate got a prime time gig, golly I hope she gets some good writing and some real screen time for a damn change. Yes; she's a hottie but; she's not just a pretty face and I'd like to see just how far she can go. On the surface seems like a good spot for her -- we'll see.
