Separated at birth?

They say everyone has a twin. Maybe every time you're out at a particular bar or restaurant, someone mistakes you for some other girl? I used to go to a club and every now and then, random women would come up to me and say, "Hi, Kim!" Who the hell was Kim? I never did find out.

My current twin doesn't so much look like me as think like me. Exactly like me. You know who you are. When you and your twin are both famous, we end up with this: a list of celebrities who were separated at birth.

Evangeline Lilly and Jessica Biel
They can star in a new series called Lost in 7th Heaven

Salma Hayek and Penelope Cruz
Am I the only one who was confused which one was which all the way through Bandidas?

Leelee Sobieski and Helen Hunt
Not so much separated at birth as they have a weird mother/daughter thing going on.

The reality show Work Out had not one, but two celebrity lookalikes. Trainer Erika Jacobson bears a striking resemblance to Angelina Jolie, and Jackie Warner herself looks more than a little like Pink and Scarlett Johansson's love child.

Maeve Quinlan and Ali Larter
I can't decide which one is hotter, so I'm resigned to the fact that one does not question life's bounty.

Nelly Furtado and Courteney Cox
"I'm like a bird ... who looks just like Courteney Cox."

An Olsen twin (either one) and a loris
Both are nocturnal primates who feed on fruit, vegetables and a little meat. The only noticeable difference is that a loris eats more.

I pretty much agree with all the matches of your list expect for Penelope and Salma.

I have to agree that Salma & Penelope do resemble each other. I think the bias comes in when we think of Salma's body. If we can look at her face and not think of her body (AND I KNOW IT'S TRULY DIFFICULT TO DO THIS), the resemblance to Cruz IS there.

Pretty easy to remember: Salma = curves, Penelope = charm.

Speaking of which, Penelope made the movie barely bearable for me. (Beautiful sexy women have that kind of powers, I guess.)

I thought I was the only one on the Louse and Elizabeth thing. The only reason I can tell them apart now is because they appear in Weeds together (and I still sometimes have to do a double take). They bear an uncanny resemblance to each other. And the Olsen thing - definitely irrefuteable, the loris MUST have been separated at birth...LOL

Okay, I don't think Salma and Penelope look alike normally, but I definitely think the pictures chosen were pretty good to argue that there ARE similarities. The ones that I hadn't really noticed before were Maeve Quinlan/Ali Larter. I can't believe how alike they look in those photos!

really amazing resemblances up there, i always thought nelly and courtney looked so much alike as well, and i even think amanda peet bears a bit of a resemblance to both of them as well...i'm not sure about salma and penelope though, apart from the difference in body shape, penelope has a really...special nose

Dude, I totally don't get the Erika and Angelina thing. They look NOTHING alike. I think that Erika looks much more like Janice Dickenson than Angelina Jolie. Also Jackie looks nothing like Scarlett. Seriously, though. That annoyed me so much on the show.

I totally agree with the Keira Knightley and Natalie Portman thing. It seems, also, that people always love one and hate the other. I happen to prefer Keria, but I'm quite fond of both, myself.

And the one I offer up is Nicole Kidman and Naomi Watts. They don't always look alike, but there are times (specifically in Mulholland Drive) where the resemblance is remarkable.
