Lady Gaga's most fabulous get-ups

This week, the FabLife did the heavy lifting, presenting us with 40 of Lady Gaga’s most entertaining fashion moments. I’ve always wondered when she might also appear in an “Who wore it better?” column, but I think we may have to wait for the reemergence of Björk for that day.

In the meantime, here are some of my favorite outfits and the snarky commentary they deserve. In general, I gotta say nay on the covered face bondage outfits — Gaga is scary enough already. Fancy fangs are a fad, but they’re OK for now. Overall, the Lady impresses me with her sheer gall.

Bubble Wrapped

Call the Village People: I think they left one behind.

Sheer madness

Her usual absolutely bizarre concoction, complete with hair bow usually wouldn’t do much for me. But a hint of breast, Star Trek Vulcan style shoulders, sexy lace wristbands, and shades that are not horribly round for once, make this quite appealing to me. Rawr.

Dare I say a bit tame and even classy?

Some bizarre combination of Xena, Warrior Princess, Madonna and Midas.

Now this is what I call an outfit. If you’re gonna go for it, go all out. I just didn’t know that she was touring with Fischerspooner.

    I quite like the strange Minnie Mouse thing whe wears in the Paparazzi video.

    And most of the outfits in the Love Game Video.

    But I'm just a bit of a fan in general, so I'm biased :-D

    The Goldy Locks outfit looks like it is doing painful things to her boobs, and the biker look is giving me bad flashbacks.  However, I have to say I quite like the jacket she is wearing in the geek chic look.  Oh, and a "Who wore it better?" column with Lady Gaga and Björk needs to happen now, please.

    I love the ice princess one and sheer madness because you can almost see her boob :) No matter what she's in, I just love that she's totally invested in Lady Gaga as performance art. PLus she loves the gays- so I love her!

    I love that she is unique .... besides, she doesnt design the clothing she just wears them ... not my typical kind of music, but i dont mind it ... too each their own and that is what she has... her own style.

    the last pic is the most appealing to me, that hair button kept stealing my eyes. i love her in anything no matter how ridiculous and scary she looks...maybe it's the way she carries herself...does anyone else notice Jenny Humphrey looks kinda like her in season 2?

    Not a fan of her music, but i love that she supports gay rights.

    Her outfits are interesting, but i kind of feel like the gimmicks getting old.

    just my opinion.
