Queen Latifah is in talks to star with Diane Keaton in Mad Money, a remake of a British made-for-TV flick called Hot Money. The film is described as a "low-tech, female version of Ocean's Eleven." I don't really know what that means, but I don't really care.
Callie Khouri (who wrote Thelma and Louise) will direct. And I will buy a ticket.

I saw the original 'Hot Money' (it had Caroline Quentin in it, who is brilliant in everything) and it was fabulous.
It will be interesting to see how the Americans pull it off.
