BAD GIRLS MEETS OZ — IN SPANISH!
We’ve just heard about a new 13-episode series from HBO Latin America called Capadocia, which premieres Sunday, March 2 throughout Latin America. The drama is centered on a women’s prison, Capadocia, and according to our sources, it includes several complex lesbian relationships.

Since my Spanish language education ended when I stopped watching Sesame Street, I can’t tell you much more about it, but I can show you some pretty pictures of the women in the cast:

Ana de la Reguera as Lorena Guerra

Cecilia Suárez as

Aurelia Sosa "La Bambi"

Cristina Umaña as

Consuelo Ospino "La colombiana"

Dolores Heredia as

Teresa Lagos

Luisa Huertas as

Doña Magos

Silvia Carusillo

as Isabel Clave

And here’s the trailer (in Spanish):

Rumor has it that the show may be coming to the United States in the next few months. So if you’re fluent in Spanish and/or can watch the series in Latin America, email us at afterellentips@gmail.com and let us know how the lesbian story lines develop!
