FAR OUT TRAILER HIGHLIGHTS THE LIVES OF BRITISH LESBIANS
Last month, the linster told us about a new web series about London lesbians called Far Out. Now the show finally has a trailer and a release date for the first episode: September 6. (If you’re in the UK, you can attend a live screening of the pilot as well.)

Lady Gaga is featured on the cover of the latest issue of Out magazine, and says in the intervivew that she told Kanya West before she agreed to tour with him, “I’m gay. My music is gay. My show is gay…and it’s going to stay that way.” In related news, Lady Gaga’s manager called the recent rumors that she’s a hermaphrodite “ridiculous.”

The new season of America’s Next Top Model, premiering Sep. 9, has an out black lesbian contestant named Lulu.

TV Squad asks “Can Katherine Moennig Ever Shake Shane?”

A new Q&A video on the official site for the upcoming web series Venice confirms there will actually be out lesbians, who actually kiss other women (thanks to strawberrypanic for the tip).

The Point Foundation, the nation’s largest scholarship-granting organization for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender students, is honoring the out Tony award-winning actress Cherry Jones with The Point Courage Award, because she has "advocated for the future of the LGBT community and lives with the vision that investing in today’s potential will produce a brighter tomorrow."

A sticker labeled, "Warning: May display sexually suggestive cover image" covers the word "Lesbian" on the cover of the Lesbian Vampire Killers DVD in retail outlets in the UK.
