Clay's Dungeon of Judgment — Sean comes over to confront Clay about his lack of support for Chelsea, and calls him out for abandoning her at the clinic.

Clay: I'm not doing the abandoning. She is.
Sean: Quit making this about your childhood experience with your moms. This is about her childhood. What's left of it.

Clay tells him to get lost, and Sean tells Clay that that he had better grow up if he wants to “be a daddy.” And that's when the shoving begins, and it escalates until The New and Improved Arthur breaks them up.

Glen's House o' Babes — Glen looks particularly perky at this NA meeting, probably because the sexy Monica is there again. She's bitching about the cookies she's eating and her addictive personality, and Glen is panting after her like a puppy. She tells him that she thinks he looks “familiar” and then offers him a ride home. He makes up some lame story about his car being broken down and happily takes her up on the offer.

Ashley's Bedroom — Spencer and Ashley are trying to find a blank tape that they can use to record the MTV extravaganza. When Spencer finds one and innocently says, “This one doesn't have a label …” you know that something terrible is about to happen.

And it does.

The tape shows Aiden and Ashley in bed and engaged in some heavy-duty pillow talk. Spencer looks like she's going to hurl as she watches them proclaim their love for one another.

Ashley shuts off the tape and initiates damage control. She tells Spence that the tape is “ancient” and that they made it when they were, like, sophomores. Because Spencer isn't 30+ years old, she doesn't find that statement amusing. Instead, she just looks crushed. Kyla is smart enough to get the hell out of there (“I'm going to go wait in the limo and play with the windows or something …”)

Spencer is worried because Aiden and Ash seemed so happy together, but Ash tries to brush it off and says they should “talk about it later.” She promises to call Spencer from backstage at the awards show, but that doesn't seem to make much of an impact.

That's when Spencer gets an opportunity to take her mind off her own troubles. Chelsea calls from the clinic, asking Spencer to come be with her while she waits to have the abortion.

Get Out of My NA Meeting and Into My Car — Monica is dropping Glen off at his house as they compare addict war stories. She seems impressed that jail was Glen's “wake-up call.” Of course, her wake-up call is worse (involving possible sexual assault and public nudity — yeah, it's bad), and she is such a badass that she's kind of relishing talking about the depths from which she has risen. Yeah, you know the type.

She tells Glen that she really likes talking to him, and he tells her that he likes not talking to her and makes a big move. Which is promptly rejected. While he thinks hooking up would give them “something new to do besides think about getting high,” Monica knows better. And it suddenly occurs to her to ask Glen how old he is. He proudly tells her that he is “almost 18,” and she simply replies, “Get out,” and peels out of his driveway.

I like this girl.
