Hex: Recaps: Episode 2.12 (page 4)

That was easy — Leon waits for Ella to finish her run, and offers her the poison.

Leon: "Looking good, lovely lady."
Ella: "Looking like a sweaty witch."

And how is that different?

Ella feels poorly very quickly, of course, and Leon shows his cards by saying "You don't take too kindly to St. John's Wort, do you?"

Meanwhile — As Thelma saunters down the stairs (snacking again), a housekeeper shrieks and runs out of dead Tom's room. You mean they don't have to clean their own rooms? What a ridiculous school: almost no classes, lots of football and sex, and nothing to tidy.

This is not fun — Leon tries to be all evil and dominating, but it just doesn't work very well. If it weren't for that Fennery music, I'd really have no idea that something bad was going on.

Thelma bursts in and then immediately runs away when she realises Leon is an incubus. Who wouldn't?

Thelma finds her way through the secret corridors to Malachi's room, and hides under the bed when Alex comes in. Also under the bed is the cleaning lady — now dead. Thelma just finds a way to lie back and think of England.

Negotiations — Ella (who's currently strapped to the bed) tries to reason with Leon. But he's looking at the Book of Orokiah and has found the bit about How To Kill an Anointed One. That book is quite amazing, isn't it? There's probably something in there about How to Salvage a TV Show When Your Main Actress Leaves, but no one has bothered to read it.

Anyway, Leon discovers that he'll just have to bleed Ella to death. Fun. He proceeds to slit her wrists.

Meanwhile, again — Thelma finds... hmm, is that the thunderbolter thing? Or perhaps only part of it.

Yes, that's what it is, and Thelma's still in Malachi's room when she finds it — and when he comes back, she promptly zaps him with it. Yay! And almost simultaneously, Ella smashes a vase over Leon's head. The war is on!

Thelma takes the thunderbolter to Ella's room. They mourn Poor Leon and renew their bond — "it looks like we're the only ones left."

NEXT WEEK ON HEX: Ella has a cunning plan; lots of people scream; and is that the delicious diabolical fairy, back again?
