A
different course of action Leon is pissed
and passed out, so Malachi decides they might as well
do away with him. Mephistopheles does not agree, but he's
not the one with the power now.
A
nephelim makes its way to Leon's face, but Leon breaks
the St. Jon's Wort-laced bottle at it, which gets him
an escape route. He runs away from the slo-mo low-budget
Nepehelim and Thelma hears him crying out.
Ella's
room Mephistopheles finds Thelma, who's
pacing. Mephistopheles goes on about dreams and fears
and tells Thelma to find a way to speak to sleeping Ella.
So
Thelma goes back into Ella's dream, and wakes her with
fire. That's enough to make Ella remember that long-ago
life in which she was nearly burned as a witch. And it's
enough to make Ella wake up in the real world, and see
Thelma, and recognise that Leon needs her. Well. That
wasn't so difficult.
Think
I better run, run, run Leon runs from
the nepehlim, smashing through paper walls and falling
against a slightly more sturdy wall as the nepehlim continues
its slo-mo orchestrated pursuit.
In
the nick of time (of course) Ella the anointed one slays
the nepehilm, with a little help from the knife Leon stole.
Medenham
Mephistopheles scowls and watches. And
pouts a little.
The
shower Raphael waits for Ella, to congratulate
her. And to seduce her, apparently, which is disgusting.
Ella clutches his crotch and sets things straight.
Raphael:
"God has decreed that you will serve me!"
Ella: "I don't serve anyone.
Creep back to your master, Raphael, and tell him I work
on my own."
Nice.
Maybe I like you again, Ella.
Yes,
maybe I definitely do Ella takes Malachi
by the throat and slams him against the lockers.
Ella:
"So. Let's get this clear once and for all.
Any feelings I had for you, they've gone. Any doubts
about the job I had to do, gone. So put your armour
on, Malachi: it's time to go to war.
Ella's
room Ella takes care of Leon, who's sporting
a bad set of scratches, courtesy of nephelim claws. She
apologises to him and declares they're a good team.
Ella
wonders how Malachi worked out that Leon was going to
do him in. Leon knows there's only one logical conclusion.
Cut to Thelma, on a sofa in the cellar, sobbing. You should
be with Maya, pretending nothing's happened! But then
I wouldn't like you as much.
NEXT WEEK ON HEX: Ella confronts
Thelma; Malachi almost gets knifed in the gut; Maya loses
everything.
