The hospital — Cassie confronts Dr. Surtees, who was supposed to have terminated Cassie's pregnancy but somehow managed to keep the bouncing baby boy alive. The doctor slams his office door in Cassie's face and goes to greet a waiting patient. Oh! That's no patient: that's the woman who slit Telekinetic Tessa's throat. Well then. So much for only a dream. And did I say the teacher was hot? Forget her: this throat-slitter woman is sexy in that dangerous mysterious way. As a throat-slitter should be, I suppose.

The Medenham cafeteria — Cassie's getting her lunch, and Thelma's right there to chat and ask for another sausage. Again, does everyone else just assume that Cassie's talking to herself — not to mention far too fond of sausages?

Cassie's understandably upset about the doctor:

Cassie: "You can't just go around saving people's babies."
Thelma: "Tell that to Mother Teresa."

No, you tell her, Thelma: you're the dead one! And I love the way you smile at the food with such anticipation, even if I still can't figure out why you're actually able to eat it.

Felix shows up out of nowhere and tries to flirt with Cassie. Elsewhere, Jo the teacher tells David the Headmaster that he may think he's charming, but he's really just a sexist pig. This is how they all know she's gone off the rails: a woman speaking her mind! Totally out of order!

The hospital — Thelma's not pleased with the place:

Thelma: "This place is really killing my medical fantasies."
Cassie: "What did you expect?"
Thelma: "Well, more nurses in PVC might be nice."

Thelma, please stop harvesting my brain waves.

Cassie reminds Thelma that most people go to hospital to die, so Thelma reminds Cassie that dead people still have desires (if it's possible to "remind" someone of such a thing). Just then, Dr. Surtees's dominatrix-like receptionist sashays by, giving Thelma a little thrill.

Thelma and Cassie go inside. Thelma's not sure Cassie really wants to know whether her son is alive, but Cassie's determined. They go into an exam room; Cassie's medical file just happens to be in plain view — along with a speculum that Thelma immediately grabs and holds up to her mouth — oh, wait, that sounded really wrong. She uses the speculum as duck lips and talks in a funny voice. Nope, still sounds wrong. I give up.

Thelma suggests they call the police, but Cassie doubts the police will be interested in a story about a stolen fetus who's probably the child of the devil. "It's a fair point," says Thelma.

They find a room full of filing cabinets. It sorta looks like a scene from Being John Malkovich, except there's suddenly something dripping. Of course it's not water: it's blood, and when it drips on Cassie, she stops, confused — and then Dr. Surtees flops down from the ceiling, his throat slit and sputtering.

Elsewhere, that sexy throat-slitting woman saunters off with a smirk on her face. Yow.

The hospital morgue — Thelma is checking out the corpses. She finally finds what she's looking for: a rather lovely young woman. Thelma immediately strips, and I think we're supposed to jump to conclusions, but I refuse.

Medenham — Cassie is dozing in the library. She's dreaming again, of herself nursing a baby. But instead of milk, her breasts are offering blood. She wakes up suddenly — Felix is there again, because he's everywhere. That reminds me: Troy has yet to make an appearance. Has he left the show? Oh, I that's right: I don't care.

Felix assumes that Cassie's still kind of a wreck about Thelma's death, and talks about his dead mum. Cassie's nice, but she really should stop encouraging him.

The morgue — A security guard finds a dress and red cowboy boots on the floor. Yep, that's what Thelma was wearing the last time we saw her. The guard pulls out the morgue tray near the discarded garments, only to find a naked corpse with smudged lipstick. Thelma, you beast!

Cassie's dorm room — Thelma shows up in her new togs, compliments of that lovely corpse. She explains that she can only wear dead people's clothes, and thus was having the moral dilemma she spoke of earlier. Cassie is a bit squicked.
