TV Guide has a new interview up with singer Alanis Morissette about her 3-episode lesbian role on Nip/Tuck, which starts tonight. She describes her character Poppy, who gets involved with Nip/Tuck‘s resident lesbian Liz (Roma Maffia), as “easy to hate”, and “my shadow self, everything that I try not to be — controlling, micromanaging, projecting all kinds of dysmorphic body issues onto your partner rather than owning your own self.”
Say no more, Alanis – you had me at “controlling and micromanaging”.
