Afternoon Delight: Tina Fey on the cover of “InStyle,” Jane Lynch at the premiere of “Paul”

Lady Gaga is not only is a mega-superstar, a fashion icon, an LGBT activist but she’s also a jewelry designer on a mission. After last week’s devastating earthquake in Japan, Gaga has raised more than $250,000 for the victims through the sales of her “We Pray For Japan” wristband. All proceeds go directly to Japan relief efforts.

The bracelet displays Japanese and English characters, and if you’d like to pre-order a wristband (which will ship on or around March 25, 2011) purchase it via Gaga’s official website for $5. Go Gaga!

Tina Fey is on the cover of InStyle Magazine dishing about her kids. Fey tells InStyle, “Anytime you talk about being a working mother and you complain about it in any way, people eat your face.” That sounds scary. Fey should stop hanging out with cannibals.

Speaking of women with children, check out Exes & Ohs actress Michelle Paradise‘s 2007 Flintstone’s vitamin commercial. Isn’t she the best mom ever?

Just a reminder that it’s still “Hug a lesbian Day!” This means you have a few more hours to roam the streets and start hugging women with short hair or chase down women riding motorcycles for a quick snuggle. Or let’s all go find Amber Heard, surround her and hug her nonstop until midnight.

The countdown until the newest Charlie’s Angels remake hits the small screen has begun! Minka Kelly, Annie Ilonzeh (General Hospital) and Grey’s Anatomy‘s Rachael Taylor (aka Doctor Hottie) filmed their first scenes together in Miami yesterday. They’d better be wearing bikinis!

Rachael Taylor

Taylor recently spoke with TV Guide about her Angels co-stars, “Annie is tough, feminine and fantastic. Minka’s exterior beauty is matched by what a sweet, warm girl she is. As far as girls that I could potentially be spending a lot of time with, I’m very relieved that it’s both of them.” Using her Grey’s Anatomy training, Taylor also diagnosed Kelly and IIonzeh as having an incurable disease called “The Sexy.”

If you’re in New York City and you want to laugh, Emmy Award winner and public vagina flasher Kathy Griffin is performing on Broadway. There are only five shows left in her newest production, Kathy Griffin Wants a Tony. The venue promises, “Every performance will feature a fresh skewering of pop culture, politics and celebrity missteps. If you want an evening of laughter, swearing and negativity, we’ve got the show for you! This is a very limited run production, so hurry.” In my world, laughter and swearing go hand in hand. Dammit, why did I move away from New York? The show is running at the Belasco Theatre and tickets are available via Telecharge.com.

If you’d rather stay inside and enjoy the comforts of your own home, then watch Wanda Sykes on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno this evening on NBC. Sykes is currently touring on the East Coast, and she’ll be performing in Rhode Island at the Providence Performing Arts Center on March 17 and at the Hanover Theatre for the Performing Arts in Worcester, MA on March 18.
