Afternoon Delight: Tegan and Sara pose for NOH8, Scarlett Johansson draws the line at porn in “Don Jon”

Good afternoon!

Happy birthday to Carey Mulligan, Christa Miller and Kylie Minogue!

Speaking of Minogue, the super gay ally and never-aging songstress has released a new track called “Skirt.” Take a listen.  (It sounds like this song was remixed by Megatron.)

Actress Ginnifer Goodwin has signed on to star in the National Geographic telepic Killing Kennedy. Goodwin will play the late first lady Jacqueline Kennedy and Parks & Recreation’s Rob Lowe will play her husband, the doomed President John F. Kennedy.

E! nabbed a photo of Glee’s Dianna Agron at her high school homecoming. What a cutie!

In 1981 tennis star Billie Jean King was outed and ended up losing all her endorsements within 24 hours. King sat down with USA Today Sports and discussed being forced out of the closet, how the world has changed for the better and her pride in out NBA star Jason Collins. (If you don’t know who Billie Jean King is, you have some homework to do.)

If you’re watching the new season of Arrested Development, pay close attention to episode 14 “Off The Hook” which features out actress Jillian Armenante (Bad Teacher, Girl, Interrupted.)

AD’s creator Mitch Hurwitz posted a hand-written thank you letter to all of us fans (and his arch enemies) and posted it on the show’s Facebook page. Hurwitz advises that when watching the 7 hours of episodes, “it’s really meant to be watched in order. And you really should watch them all, because they build, and, I’m just saying”eventually.” If you can. All 15 (episodes).” And that’s why you always leave a note!

People magazine featured not one, not two but three lesbian couples in it’s Hollywood’s Real ‘Modern Families’ spread!  Check out the photos of out fitness guru Jillian Michaels and her partner Heidi Rhodes, Iron Chef Cat Cora with her pack of boys and Rosie O’Donnell with wife Michelle Rounds posing with the newest addition to their family, daughter Dakota.

Speaking of lezzie couples, EW ranked Bound’s Corky and Violet on its “Bad Romance: Doomed Movie/TV Couples We Love” list.

If you’re having a bad day you’re not alone:

Out actresses Abisha Uhl (Girl/Girl Scene) and Nicole Pacent (Anyone But Me) showed off their friendship on Instagram. (Since I know these two fools, five bucks says Pacent is posing and Uhl isn’t.)

A Jersey-esque Scarlett Johansson and Julianne Moore team up for the comedy Don Jon. Check out the film’s first trailer below, in theaters October 18th. (My wife will be at the theater on opening night.)

Exes & Oh’s creator and star Michelle Paradise is taking her talents to the CW sci-fi series The Originals.

In an interview on Sirius/XM, NFL Minnesota Vikings’ Adrian Peterson stated he doesn’t “believe in” gay marriage. (Who cares what he believes?) Peterson said, “I’m not with it. But I have relatives that are gay. I’m not biased towards them. I still treat them the same. I love ‘em. But again, I’m not with that. That’s not something I believe in. But to each his own.” I’m so lucky my family fully supports my wife and me.

Tonight, Ellen Page will appear on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson and this Friday, tune into The Ellen DeGeneres Show to see out comedian Wanda Sykes.

Rumor has it next year the United States Post Office will be selling Harvey Milk stamps.

Photo of the Day!

Tegan and Sara add their famous faces to the NOH8 campaign.
