Mila Kunis is my kind of girl. Not because she’s posing on the cover of August’s GQ in her Calvin Klein underwear, but because she’s posing while drinking a delicious cup of iced coffee. I love coffee! The Black Swan actress is promoting her new romantic comedy Friends With Benefits
: The Whitney Mixter Story. In the interview, Kunis admits that, in real life, she’s never actually been in a friend with benefits relationship before. Have you? And did you know Kunis is a massive Star Trek fan?
Ellen DeGeneres has changed the lives of many people just by being who she is. Over the weekend, DeGeneres also changed the life of a kitten.
The Emmy Award-winning comedian rescued a six-week-old sickly kitten that she found sitting on an ottoman in a furniture store. (My cat loves my ottoman, too.) The cat was hungry, covered with fleas and dehydrated. DeGeneres, being the
stereotypical amazing lesbian that she is, took the cat to the vet, paid for all of its medical care and took it home and nursed it back to health. I believe this qualifies DeGeneres for sainthood. DeGeneres named the cat Ridiculous because “She’s so ridiculously cute!”
Ridiculous is now safe and sound at the Los Angeles animal sanctuary The Gentle Barn, waiting to be adopted. Does anyone want a cat?
NBC’s new legal drama The Firm has added actress/rocker Juliette Lewis to its roster. The show is based on John Grisham’s novel of the same name and stars Josh Lucas as tough lawyer Mitchell McDeere. Lewis will play Tammy, a “feisty, sexy receptionist.” Receptionist? That’s lame. Why can’t Lewis play a female lawyer instead? Am I the only one who’s annoyed by this?
Our little Hermione Granger, Emma Watson, is growing up. Watson is putting down her books and wand and taking on an edgier role in the upcoming sex and drug-filled coming-of-age film The Perks of Being a Wallflower. Watson will play Sam, an open-minded, hard-partying high schooler in the film based on the novel by Stephen Chbosky. The film co-stars Paul Rudd and will be released in theaters in 2012.
US Weekly is speculating (again) that bisexual actress Angelina Jolie might be marrying her partner of six years, Brad Pitt, in an “intimate and informal” ceremony. Do you care? The story has been picked up by dozens of news sources including Fox News. How is this newsworthy? When I see the actual wedding pictures, then I’ll send over my congratulations and a Bed, Bath & Beyond gift card.
