Afternoon Delight: Leaked Lady Gaga tunes, lesbians in “Brides” and The Oscars want Betty White

Welcome to Thursday, friends; what are you doing tonight? May I make a suggestion? Jimmy Kimmel is airing a pre-taped, hour-long Eclipse special with the entire Twilight cast, including AfterEllen.com favorites/kissing co-stars Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning.

Or if vampires aren’t your thing, Ani DiFranco is doing her first-ever webcast. She’ll be playing live from Ex’pression College for Digital Arts in Emeryville, CA, and you can watch the entire show for free at 8:00 (PST) at CreativeAllies.com.

Lady Gaga‘s latest track, “Changing Skies,” leaked earlier today. No one seems to know if it’s from her new album or from her archives, but it’s definitely not finished – and yet, still awesome. It’s been yanked from YouTube all day, but BuzzSugar is still hosting it, so listen while you can!

AfterEllen.com reader Karrie let us know that there’s a lesbian couple featured in the July issue of Brides magazine. Kristen Walsh (a photo editor at Brides) and Jennifer Cwiok were married in Brooklyn earlier this year. You can check out the article and some pictures at photographer Laura McKay’s website.

monica_s tipped us off about a (maybe new) feature on BET’s site called “Black and Proud: Who’s Who in the black LGBT community.” It includes a list of must-see gay and lesbian films, 12 gay and lesbian myths (My favorite – Myth: Lesbian women recruit others into their lifestyle. This is not the military. There are plenty of lesbians in the world already, so recruitment is not necessary.), and a group of LGBT supporters from Beyonce to Kanye. Plus, they’re highlighting LGBT men and women of color from communities all over America.

Queerty asked Shaz Riley, founder of Britain’s The Butch Clothing Company, what ten women she would like to endorse her clothing line. Ellen DeGeneres, Jane Lynch and Martina Navratilova were among her top choices.

It looks like Paula Patton may be spending a lot more time in your living room. The Precious star is in late-stage talks to replace Sharon Stone as the Assistant District Attorney on Law & Order: SVU this fall. Mariska Hargitay and Paula Patton on my TV screen, together? Yes, please.

ABC family has released some promo images from next week’s Pretty Little Liars. This one is my favorite. It’s just everything that’s right with this show (and the world). “It won’t be that easy, bitches!”

If you spent any time watching The Office this year, you’re familiar with new receptionist Ellie Kemper (also known as the best thing to happen to Dunder-Mifflin since Amy Ryan). Well, she’s joining co-star Mindy Kaling in publishing a book next year. According to Vulture, it’s “a comic account of the life of a Manhattan psychiatrist named Dr. Amy Rice told through her diary entries and patient files.”

Oscar co-producer Bruce Cohen talked to the Los Angeles Times about who will host the Academy Awards this year. Not shocking? He’s going to find a way to incorporate Betty White: “All options are open. And I’m sure we’ll get a big push for Betty White. I can feel it coming … I think she’d be great in some capacity. [Laughs.] I don’t know if she’d want to host the whole show.”

Today’s Afternoon Delight is brought to you by Tegan and Sara (and every single person who threatened to kneecap me if I didn’t choose these recently-released photos for today’s post).
