Afternoon Delight: Ke$ha wants to skinny dip with Britney, Rosie O’Donnell defends Chris Brown

Happy Birthday to Nancy McKeon aka Jo from The Facts of Life! Now I know McKeon is not a lesbian but she sure does like sports!

Also, happy belated birthday to Cat Cora, the Iron Chef turned 44 yesterday.

Today Rosie O’Donnell defended singer Chris Brown’s violent behavior on her SiriusXM Radio show. Last month, Brown smashed a chair threw window after his Good Morning America appearance and O’Donnell quipped, “Part of me wanted to take a chair and throw it through the window at The View after all that happened. But, you know, there are no windows down there in that rat-infested cellar.” O’Donnell also said, “I don’t know why this kid seems to be held to a different standard than anybody else.” Thankfully, there was no mention of Rihanna on the radio show and I really hope O’Donnell and Brown get some help for their hatred of chairs.

Ke$ha told People Magazine that she wants to “skinny dip” with Britney Spears to celebrate the success of Spear’s chart-topping song, “Til the World Ends,” which Ke$ha wrote for her. I didn’t know Ke$ha could write! Personally, I’d rather clean the pool at The Dinah with my tongue then go near Ke$ha and Spear’s love-tub.

My favorite musical duo, That’s What She Said, is featured in this month’s Curve Magazine, in stores now! The band’s ivory-tickler, Kathryn Lounsbery, interviewed her musical partner and life partner Amy Turner about their mutual obsession with their dog Edith Piaf.

Piaf and her comedy stylings were featured on last year’s Last Comic Standing. Is it wrong that I’m jealous of a dog’s career?

For all of you Grey’s Anatomy fans, there are some new spoilers circulating on the Internet about the upcoming Calzona wedding. Also, a Facebook campaign lobbying for an Emmy for Sara Ramirez has been launched.

Set your DVRs tonight to LOGO and record the newest episode of Bridget McManus Presents: That Time of the Month at 4 AM (check your local listings.) This episode features an exclusive clip from actress Sheetal Sheth‘s film Three Veils and a behind the scenes look at Sick of Sarah‘s photo shoot for Curve Magazine. If you don’t get the Logo Network, TTOTM will also be posted here on AfterEllen.com this Friday April 8, 2011.

Also on April 8, Cate Blanchett returns to the big screen with the action thriller Hanna starring 16-year old Saoirse Ronan (The Lovely Bones) in the title role. Ronan plays an assassin being hunted by Blanchett, a ruthless intelligence agent with one mean Agent Dana Scully haircut! Apparently bobbed haircuts are a must if you want to get a government job.

Lesbian/ Bi Video of the Day:

The nonprofit organization, Basic Rights Education Fund, launched their Marriage Matters Oregon campaign featuring numerous videos of committed gay and straight couples making a public promise to the person they love. These videos are now commercials that are currently airing throughout the state of Oregon. The “Love and Marriage” commercial features lesbian couple Shelly and Kristin.

In the commercial, Kristin says, “Getting married is about making that special vow in front of family and friends to be together — forever.”

Marry Matters Oregon also encourages you to post your own videos and share your love story.

Enjoy the rest of your day and I’ll see you tomorrow!
