Kristen Stewart will star in Lie Down in Darkness, adapted from William Styron’s 1951 novel of the same name. Stewart will play Peyton Loftis, “as a part of a dysfunctional and disintegrating family, Peyton is constantly compared to her crippled sister, Maudie, and her intense physical beauty makes her the object of her frigid mother’s jealous hatred and the target of her father’s incestuous, alcoholic lust.”
Jennifer Lawrence climbed a lot of trees in the Hunger Games and EW has an exclusive video of Lawrence performing her vertical workout.
Actress Julie Delpy wants everyone to know that her vagina is very muscular. Noted.
The band Train is speaking out after New Zealand’s anti-gay website Family First used their single “Marry Me” to promote their discriminatory agenda. Train issued the following statement:
We take the idea of marriage very seriously, and believe it is the right of all consenting adults, regardless of sexual orientation.”Marry Me” is about just that, finding that special love and making it last forever. Everyone should be allowed to have that.
Dammit, now I’m going to have to start liking Train.
Out model/VJ Ruby Rose shared some big news with her Twitter followers.

Total Recall hit theaters today in the U.S. If you’re excited (like I am) then watch AfterElton’s interviews with stars Kate Beckinsale and Jessica Biel.
If you’re feeling naughty today then take a gander at the redband trailer for the comedy Bachelorette. Out Bigfoot-oligist Ranae Holland is featured in the season 3 trailer for Finding Bigfoot, premiering this fall. I don’t know if Bigfoot exists but I would like to get one of those Sasquatch necklaces.
And just a reminder, if you’re in or around Long Beach, CA tonight check out my wife’s band Tiger Mouth at Que Sera (1923 East 7th Street). Trish and I will be there with lighters in hand.
Tweet of the day!
