Afternoon Delight: Julianne Moore signs on for the “Carrie” reboot, Chelsea Handler matches donates to the HRC

Both Kristen Stewart and Charlize Theron rocked sheer floor-length black dresses at the London premiere of Snow White and the Huntsman. Stewart and Theron have the classic lesbian DVD cover conjoined krazy-glued head pose down to an art.

The Kids Are All Right‘s Julianne Moore will star opposite Chloe Moretz in the remake of Carrie. On a side note, did you see the 2002 Carrie TV movie starring Patricia Clarkson?

Beyonce‘s baby-daddy and husband Jay Z has added his voice to the marriage equality movement. In an interview with CNN the award winning rapper/producer said:

“I’ve always thought it as something that was still holding the country back. What people do in their own homes is their business and you can choose to love whoever you love. That’s their business. It’s no different than discriminating against blacks. It’s discrimination plain and simple.”

Lady Gaga has been banned from Indonesia. A spokesperson for the Indonesian national police department has confirmed that the Gaga has been denied a permit for her June 3 show in Jakarta. The conservative group Islamic Defenders Front have successfully protested Gaga insisting the singer has Satanic song lyrics with the intention to “destroy the children’s sense of morality.” In other news, I will not be visiting Jakarta anytime soon.

Last year 19-year-old Zach Wahls spoke out in support of his two mothers during a public forum on House Joint Resolution 6 in the Iowa House of Representatives.

Wahls’s speech went viral and has since accumulated over 2 million video views. (My “Dry Hump” music video only has 7,600 views.) Wahls sat down with The Life Media to discuss his loving family and his new book entitled My Two Moms: Lessons of Love, Strength, and What Makes a Family.
