Charlie’s Angels actress Lucy Liu has signed on for the CBS series Elementary. Liu will star as Watson — Joan Watson that is — in the “retelling” of Sherlock Holmes and his adventures, while Sherlock himself will be played by Angelina Jolie‘s ex-hubby Jonny Lee Miller. Instead of jolly ol’ England, the crime fighting series will have the detective team solving mysteries in Manhattan. (Manhattan does have a lot of crime.)
