Rave reviews are in for Fiona Shaw‘s performance in The Testament of Mary. Shaw’s one-woman show can be seen at the Walter Kerr Theatre in New York through June 16.

A Pennsylvania principal has banned a trans teen from running for prom king. Issak Oliver Wolfe, a senior at Red Lion Area Senior High School in York, PA, has been widely embraced by his classmates and teachers and opted to run for prom king. But the new principal, Mark Shue, was “uncomfortable” with the idea of a trans male being crowned prom king and Wolfe discovered that his entry had been switched back to his birth name and put into the girls’ category. Ke$ha‘s new docu-series My Crazy Beautiful Life premieres on MTV tonight at 11/10c, and in interviews promoting the show she has revealed that she smokes glitter and once drank her own urine. Ke$ha confirmed what you probably already imagined when she added, “I heard it was good for you. That was, like, the rumor. But I don’t know. I’m also just one that doesn’t shy away from things. I’m not good at saying ‘no’ so I just figure, fuck it, I’ll try anything once. So I tried it. I wouldn’t recommend it. It was pretty gross. And I don’t think it really did anything very beneficial to me so, yeah, I wouldn’t probably do it again.”
