Afternoon Delight: Female directors in “The Hollywood Reporter,” Lindsay Lohan talks sexuality in “Playboy”

Good afternoon!

Happy birthday to Jennifer Connelly, out director J.A. Steel (Bloodfare) and Sheila E!

Jennifer Lopez (Out of Sight), Elizabeth Banks (The Hunger Games), Cameron Diaz (Being John Malkovich), Megan Mullally (Happy Endings), Anna Kendrick (Twilight) and Wendi McLendon-Covey (Bridesmaids) teamed up for the comedy What to Expect When You’re Expecting.

Actress Lindsay Lohan discussed her views on sexuality in her upcoming issue of Playboy. Lohan said, “Sex and sexuality are a part of nature, and I go along with nature.” I’m not exactly sure what Lohan means, but I also participate with nature.

In case you missed it, check out Robyn‘s Saturday Night Live performances of “Call Your Girlfriend” and “Dancing On My Own.”

Speaking of outstanding performances, take a listen to Florence + The Machine‘s rendition of “Never Let Me Go” via AOL Sessions.

Directors Angelina Jolie and Jennifer Yuh Nelson are on the cover The Hollywood Reporter‘s “Female Directors” issue.

Out director Dee Rees (Pariah) was named among the issue’s “5 of Hollywood’s Female Directors to Know” and she looks stunning!

Over the weekend I came across the webcomic Jesus Loves Lesbians, Too. Bisexual author Maria Burnham struggled with her faith and sexuality for many years. When she finally sat down to write her story she decided to make it comical rather than tragic. The webcomic “chapters” are published bimonthly online at jesusloveslesbianstoo.com.

Here’s a glimpse of Burnham’s “My First Girl Kiss” comic.

Tonight Iron Chef Cat Cora will appear on the Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, while Margaret Cho and Fortune Feimster will be in attendance at E!’s Chelsea Lately.
