Happy birthday to SNL alums Amy Poehler and Molly Shannon. And a very happy birthday to Bound’s Jennifer Tilly. (FYI I just spent 10 minutes speaking in Tilly’s sexy/creepy baby voice saying the name “Corky” over and over again.)
Yesterday in Chicago, Oprah Winfrey unveiled the new Harpo sign with The Rosie Show getting top billing over the former The Oprah Winfrey Show. Host Rosie O’Donnell spoke out about her new home at OWN, “This is kinda trippy. It’s an honor. It’s really overwhelming.”
Academy Award-winning director Clint Eastwood made my day with his opinion on gay marriage rights. When GQ asked Eastwood his thoughts on those who apposed gay marriage Eastwood said:
These people who are making a big deal about gay marriage? I don’t give a f–k about who wants to get married to anybody else! Why not?! We’re making a big deal out of things we shouldn’t be making a deal out of … Just give everybody the chance to have the life they want.
We have Dirty Harry’s vote, now all we need is the rest of the US government.
In an interview with Marie Claire magazine, out actress Evan Rachel Wood explained that her sexuality is very important to her.
Wood said, “Yeah, that’s a big part of who I am, and it always has been for as long as I can remember. I can’t say I’m one way or the other because I’ve honestly fallen in love with a man and I’ve honestly fallen in love with a woman. I don’t know how you label that, it’s just how it is.”
Wood looks like she’s having a nasty migraine. I hope she’s OK.
The Internet needs a good plumber because once again a Lady Gaga song has leaked out to the masses. (That was a terrible joke, I know.) If you can’t wait for Tony Bennett’s Duets II album to hit stores then take a listen to Gaga’s “The Lady is A Tramp” duet with the award-winning crooner.
That’s a wrap for The Hunger Games. After 84-days of shooting the first of the four films based on Suzanne Collins’ trilogy, Jennifer Lawrence and the HG cast has finally finished the principal photography in North Carolina.The Hunger Games is set to hit theaters March 23, 2012. I can’t wait!
