Afternoon Delight: Brittana (and Gwyneth) shake it in a “Glee” sneak peek, Ellen Page is “Super”

TVLine.com has an exclusive sneak peek of Gwyneth Paltrow‘s performance of “Do You Wanna Touch Me” on an upcoming episode of Glee. It’s a sex education lesson set to music, which pretty much describes all rock songs, if you think about it.

I can’t say that I found it to be at all titillating, but these things are a matter of taste. Perhaps the routine will send you into an ecstatic Dionysian frenzy! Brittany and Santana get “a little sexy with their hips” (as Mindy Sterling once said in Drop Dead Gorgeous), so that’s something, right? Brittana fans are already making the most of it.

Julianne Moore has joined the cast of the film with the best title since Sweet Sweetback’s Baadasssss Song, and Tricia Helfer has joined the cast of the new NBC pilot 17th Precinct.

Lesbians protested and TVSquad.com listened! They added another queer character to their list of the 100 Most Memorable Female TV Characters.

It’s cool that they wanted to get serious with her, but we hope they know she’s not the staying kind. In fact, we strongly advise them not to date her.

We finally have a proper trailer for the new Rainn Wilson and Ellen Page film, Super.

I like the utility belt suggestion. It made sense coming from her.

If you’re in Los Angeles, be sure to check out the Fusion (The Los Angeles LGBT People of Color Film Festival), which kicks off tonight with a The Wiz sing-a-long. Saturday includes a screening of Anna Margarita Albelo‘s Hooters! The Making of Older, Wisher, Lesbian Cinema, a behind the scenes look at Pariah (a conversation with writer/director Dee Rees and producer Nekisa Cooper) and a full program of short films.

Tickets are still available, and Albelo will give us her overview of the festival next week.

Finally, today (beginning at sundown, wherever you are) is the National Day of Unplugging, in which we are all challenged to go 24 hours without our computers, fancy phones, Twitter, Facebook, etc. Will you take the challenge? I’ve heard that getting a dose of Vitamin D via exposure to sunlight is a good thing, though maybe not as thrilling as posting the latest Tron/Big Lebowski parody on Facebook and anxiously waiting for your “friends” to post all of their variations on “The Dude abides” to your wall in response.

Have a great weekend!
