Afternoon Delight: Anna Paquin and Ellen Page sign on for “X-Men: Days Of Future Past,” new “Grey’s Anatomy” spoilers

Good afternoon!

Happy birthday to Heather Graham, Sara Gilbert and Oprah Winfrey!

Musical duo Tegan and Sara sat down with former SNL star Andy Samberg to teach him the ins and outs of being a heartthrob. (Dear Quin sisters, Don’t give all our secrets away! Love, Bridget)

Jessica Capshaw shared some spoiler-ish details on what’s in store for Grey’s Anatomy’s Dr. Arizona Robbins.Capshaw revealed, “There’s more Arizona-Bailey stuff coming up! I love their dynamic because both of them are so feisty and so unapologetic about thinking they’re right all the time that they’re fun. I love their character stuff.” And how about Arizona and Callie’s relationship? Capshaw said, “I think they’re back on the road.”

Anna Paquin and Ellen Page have officially signed on for X-Men: Days Of Future PastThe film will also star James McAvoyMichael Fassbender and Jennifer Lawrence and is scheduled to hit theaters on July 18, 2014.

Amy Poehler is set to write an “illustrated, non-linear diary.” (A graphic novel/memoir?) It Books will be releasing Poehler’s masterpiece in 2014 and had this to say,  “Her (Poehler’s) original twist on the conventional memoir will have universal appeal. An illustrated, non-linear diary full of humor and honesty and brimming with true stories, fictional anecdotes and life lessons, the book will be a unique and engaging experience from one of today’s most talented and beloved stars.”

Allison Janey has been cast as Anna Faris‘s mother in the new CBS sitcom pilot Mom. This is a match made in my brain’s heaven! If Hillary Clinton guest stars on the show, I will literally explode from happiness.

Speaking of Clinton, this is her last week as Secretary of State. (I’m gonna miss you, baby!) If you have a second, consider signing the HRC’s thank you letter to her for being a champion for LGBTQ rights.

Olympic gold medalist Lindsey Vonn aka the “fastest woman on the planet” shows off her assets on Outside magazine

Tina Fey revealed (once again) that she is working on Mean Girls: the MusicalThat’s right, a stage adaption from Fey’s brilliant 2004 hit film. Who would you cast in Lindsay Lohan‘s role?

Rumor has it that the next installment of Star Wars might have female protagonist. (I think Katee Sackoff should be cast to play a female version of Obi Wan Kenobi.)

On the latest installment of TLC’s My Strange Addiction we meet Lisa, a woman who eats her cat’s hair and cleans her cat with her tongue. This is beyond disturbing.
