Afternoon Delight: A trailer for “Circumstance,” new dates for the “Glee” tour

Good Afternoon!

Check out the trailer for Circumstance, the Audience Award winner at Sundance this year. It’s described as the “story of two vivacious young girls – wealthy Atafeh and orphaned Shireen – discovering their burgeoning sexuality and, like 16-year old girls anywhere, struggling with their desires and the boundaries placed upon them by the world they were born into.”

Looks amazing, right? We’ll keep you posted on the release date. In the meantime, check out their TakePart.com and Facebook pages.

Today on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Tina Fey sat down with my favorite daytime lesbian and discussed her disinterest in finding out her baby’s sex.

Tina Fey: We’re going to find out … never.

Ellen DeGeneres: Not even after it’s born?

Tina Fey: I’m just going to see what it chooses to wear to prom.

Speaking of the prom, who’s going to tune in to watch Glee to find out who will be crowned Prom King and Prom Queen? Some of you might already know the results of the prom voting since a Glee extra Tweeted about the show’s prom court earlier this week and spoiled the big surprise. For those of you who don’t know who will wear the crowns, tune in and you’ll be pleasantly surprised.

If you’re a super-Gleek, there is good news for you. More shows have been added to the Glee Live! In Concert!” tour. The summer tour begins on May 21 at the Mandalay Bay Event Center in Las Vegas. Glee stars Lea Michele, Chris Colfer, Dianna Agron, Naya Rivera, Heather Morris, Darren Criss and many more will be coming to a city near you. The three additional show dates added are May 25 in San Jose, California, June 4 in Chicago, Illinois, and June 7 in Uncasville, Connecticut.

For those of you who enjoy spoilers E!Online has some tidbits on the upcoming Glee and Grey’s Anatomy’s episodes.

There is also good news for all of you Lena Headey fans out there. Headey’s new HBO series Game of Thrones has been renewed for a second season. I’m hoping she’ll go back to being a brunette in season two.

Actress Elizabeth Banks (30 Rock) has joined the cast of Gary Ross’s version of The Hunger Games. Banks will play Effie Trinket, the adult escort that transports the teenage warriors to their death tournaments. That might be the bleakest sentence I’ve ever written.

The trailer for Emma Stone‘s new film The Help has just been released. The film takes place in the 1960s during the Civil Rights Movement. Stone plays Skeeter, a young woman who is outraged by the mistreatment of the black maids in her Mississippi community and writes an article exposing the injustices. The film also stars Bryce Dallas Howard and Allison Janney.

RadarOnline reports that Lindsay Lohan is being sought after to star in Mob Street, a movie about the Mafia’s involvement with Wall Street and written by actor Chazz Palminteri (The Usual Suspects.) Mob Street executive producer Marc Fiore is also producing the upcoming Gotti: Three Generations, the other mobster movie in which Lohan is being wooed to star. Foire told Radar,”I want Lindsay to be in Gotti and another movie (Mob Street) that I’m producing. She’s a great, great actress.”

Howard Stern stopped by Rosie O’Donnell‘s SiriusXM radio show today and took over the show and began asking O’Donnell some pretty personal questions. O’Donnell confirmed that she’s now back with her ex-girlfriend (Tracy Kachtick-Anders). O’Donnell, “We didn’t really break up. She just has six kids… and I have four. It’s insanity.”

Hopefully, O’Donnell’s relationship can work long distance because the comedian is moving to Chicago to shoot the first few episodes of her new show for the Oprah network. O’Donnell, who has a $10 million deal with OWN, will be staying at the Trump Tower while in Chicago. Only the best for our Rosie! Hey Rosie, can I borrow a couple of bucks?

If you’re in Los Angeles and you love to laugh, out comedian Selena Luna (The Cho Show) along with comedian Erin Foley will be performing tonight at Akbar in Silverlake at 8:00pm.
