Glee’s Lea Michele looks very alluring on the cover of December’s Allure magazine. The petite vegan actress claims she can eat "some bitches under the table" but obviously she hasn’t been under my table. Wait, I think that came off wrong.

Tomorrow is the American holiday Thanksgiving. Many celebrities, artists and regular folks (like myself) will be sitting down to a family meal and not be partaking in the customary Thanksgiving turkey. The (in)famous animal rights organization PETA has created a list of 25 celebrities who are celebrating the upcoming holiday sans bird, including Alicia Silverstone, Ellen DeGeneres, Joss Stone, Maggie Q, Natalie Portman, Olivia Wilde and Sarah Silverman. DeGeneres’s beautiful wife Portia will also be chowing down on veggies, although PETA did not include her in their list. PETA also forgot to mention Ghostella’s Haunted Tomb director Stacie Ponder and my dog Taffy Davenport McManus. (Turkey makes Taffy gassy.)
On another note, Janet Jackson is launching her very own fur line. Jackson has teamed up with the fur firm Blackglama to create the luxury mink collection. Jackson’s line will feature 15 items including plush coats and gloves. Jackson said in a statement to the press, “The art of fashion is one of my great passions. I’ve worked for years to bring a collection into the world. Partnering with Blackglama is very exciting.” The Janet Jackson Blackglama Collection will be available in stores later this month.
On Friday, February 3, 2012, I will be returning to the lovely state of Virginia to perform at the Jefferson Center in Roanoke. I will be joined by Latina comedian Gina Brillon (she’s brilliant) and a slew of other amazing comedians. I’ll also be dragging my wife, Karman, and mother-in-law, Gail , along with me, so if any of you want to meet up before or after the show I’d love to see your faces. For tickets go to www.jeffcenter.org/united-nations-comedy-tour.

What is comedian Ellen DeGeneres thankful for this Thanksgiving? Well, actress Sofia Vergara of course! Check out the hilarious behind the scenes Covergirl shoot and I dare you not to laugh when DeGeneres tells Vergara that her American accent makes her sound like she’s a gay man.
Have a happy and safe holiday! And for those of you who aren’t celebrating, have a terrific weekend!
