Afternoon Delight: A campaign for Femme Visibility, Viola Davis and other stars at the Academy Award Nominee Luncheon

Albert Nobbs star Glenn Close attended yesterday’s 84th Academy Awards Nominees Luncheon along with Rooney Mara, Viola Davis and more than 100 other Oscar contenders. Davis makes me smile!

As I previously mentioned, The Hunger Games inspired China Glaze’s “Colours from the Capitol,” 12 nail polish colors depicting the 12 cities of Panem. My favorite color is “Smoke and Ashes” from Katniss’ coal mining District 12.

Gay rights activist and out writer Megan Evans wrote a blog for the Huffington Post entitled “Femme Invisibility.” Evans is looking to change stereotypes and urges femmes to join her visibility campaign. We can make a difference one mini skirt at a time!
