Over the weekend a lot of out and proud women celebrated their birthdays. Happy belated birthday to Kelly McGillis. The Top Gun actress turned 54 on July 9. Happy belated birthday to Harry Potter actress Fiona Shaw, who can be seen causing havoc with her witchcraft on HBO’s True Blood. She turned 53 on Sunday, the same day out photographer/actress (and Ellen Degeneres’ former flame) Alexandra Hedison celebrated her 42nd birthday.
On Tuesday, September 20 Glee‘s Jane Lynch will be appearing at Barnes and Noble in New York City to pimp out her upcoming book Happy Accidents. Stop by the Union Square store (33 East 17 St., New York) at 7 p.m. to meet the fabulous comedian.

Fitness guru Jillian Michaels hates her ass. Well, that’s what she told Fitness magazine when they asked what her least favorite body part is. Michaels said:
There’s cellulite on it, and no matter what I do, I can’t get rid of it. The reality is that it’s connective tissue. I can starve and my boobs will go and my face will get gaunt, but I will still have cellulite. It’s not so much about aesthetics for me these days. Instead, I think a lot more about the mark I’m going to make on the world than about the back of my ass.
On October 19 the amazing Lily Tomlin will be hosting the Valley Community Clinic’s 40th Anniversary Gala at the Sportsmen’s Lodge in Studio City.
