1.)What video is currently embedded on your profile and why?
A clip from Sex and the City (the last episode), with Carrie’s famous line: “I’m looking for love. Real love. Ridiculous, inconvenient, consuming, can’t-live-without-each-other love. And I don’t think that love is here in this expensive suite in this lovely hotel in Paris.”
Because I loooooove Sex and the City and cannot wait for the next movie, and also because I’m a girl looking for love. Real Love. LOL.
2.) When and where have you met a celebrity?
When I was working at the No on Prop 8 SF headquarters, there were a bunch of celebrities that came through. I trained comedian Marga Gomez on phone banking, and coached her one-on-one to make sure the script went smoothly – because she said she’s better onstage than on the phone with (sometimes very unpredictable) voters.
She was such a great sport and came to do volunteer work regularly, while some of the other celebrities that came through passed on phone banking, or referred other people to do it.
3.) What lesbian/bi pop culture character are you most like, and why?
I guess I would say I’m most like Ellen because I consider myself a funny lady — most of the time.
4.) If we hacked into your DVR, what would we find?
Hmmm, I don’t have a DVR, but have been watching a lot of The Tudors and old I Love Lucy episodes.
5.) What movie star does your pet most resemble?
I don’t have a pet, but if I did, I would want it to most resemble Hugh Jackman, because its already easy for me to imagine him as a Wolverine. Therefore, I know my dog will be somewhat good-looking.
