When Lost Girl promised us an LGBTnerdsplsion, it wasn’t kidding. While Bo (and Lauren and Tamsin) may be still be off somewhere in a land far, far away, the show has kicked off with a slew of LGBT and LGBT-friendly guest stars to dazzle us in their absence. Next up, Ali Liebert.
Newly released photos from the second episode of Season 4 show Liebert clearly trying to compete for a spot in Boobs O’Clock. Well played, Betty McRae, well played. There’s not a ton of intel on the Bomb Girls star’s role, other than the top-secret news that her character’s name is Crystal. From the looks of the picture she might be a waitress, what with the menus and glasses in the background.
The episode, titled “Sleeping Beauty School” synopsis doesn’t give us much more in the way of clues. It reads:
Dyson seeks out an elemental Fae to rescue someone he loves. Meanwhile, Kenzi’s stuck on babysitting duty – but her unlikely charge might be the key to cracking the case.
More photos from the episode reveal Mia Kirshner is back as the nymph Cleo (not Déjà Vu, she came down with the crabs). Still not exactly sure what her character is all about. Perhaps she sells magical hats and mittens?
Dyson and Hale also appear to be headed for a spa day of some sort. Aw, I hope they get matching mani-pedis.
The synopses for the next couple episodes have also been released. But, be warned, SPOILERS.
Episode 4.03, “Lovers. Apart.” – Bo jeopardizes her life to save a haunted family. Meanwhile, Dyson races to be by Bo’s side and Lauren’s past catches up with her.
Episode 4.04, “Turn to Stone” – When the Clubhouse is robbed, Kenzi’s forced to make a confession that could threaten her friendship with Bo. Meanwhile, an angry and frustrated Bo does the unthinkable – she confronts a dangerous foe and makes a shocking discovery.
All I read is we’re getting to find out more about Lauren’s past, which makes me all kinds of excited. Perhaps we’ll find out what this Karen Beattie business is all about.
Right, so, this Sunday can’t come fast enough, eh, Canada? In the meantime, catch up (or relive) the action from the premiere with out Lost Girl recap. Or just keep staring at Ali in that crop top. Whatever passes the time, folks.
