A Gay Girl’s Guide to Fall TV: September

Could Be Worth It…

2 Broke Girls (CBS, Monday, Sept. 19 at 9:30/8:30c)

Michael Patrick King and Whitney Cummings have created a show about a pair of waitresses down and out in Brooklyn. So far, it’s funny but it might have been better as a single cam sitcom.

Unforgettable (CBS, Tuesday, Sept. 20 at 10/9c)

Poppy Montgomery forgets nothing, which made her a great cop. Unfortunately, she quit — until she was forced into the scene of a crime. This could be good, as long as her gift/curse is at the center instead of her relationship with her ex.

Terra Nova (Fox, Monday, Sept. 26 at 8/7c)

An incredibly expensive show about mankind going back to live in the past, the show could be exciting, or it could be a really long version of Jurassic Park.

Revenge (Wednesday, Sept. 21 at 10/9c)

A young woman returns to the Hamptons to settle the score with an evil couple who framed her father. So far it’s intriguing, but there’s so much to learn about Amanda, her family and her plans for revenge.

New Girl (Fox, Tuesday, Sept. 20 at 9/8c)

Zooey Deschanel didn’t wow me in the pilot, but I’m still holding out hope that writer/producer Liz Merriwether can give her something less annoying and more fun to work with.
