This weekend, the stars came out to support the gays at the 18th annual GLAAD Media Awards in Los Angeles. As usual, the night's winners (Little Miss Sunshine, Ugly Betty, Brothers & Sisters, and a Grey's Anatomy episode appropriately titled "Where the Boys Are") were all about gay men (and to a lesser extent, trans folk), but out tennis legend Martina Navratilova received a special award, and the red carpet saw a parade of queer women, women who play queer women, and women who just have queer friends (or want to).
We'll give you a full article with more details on and quotes from the event later this week, but in the meantime, we've created this slideshow of some of the women in attendance, including actresses from The L Word, South of Nowhere and Grey's Anatomy. (The event was also attended by a few hundred gay and straight men; if you want to see photos of them, check out AfterElton.com's GLAAD slideshow).

(Actress Laurel Holloman also openly identifies as bisexual, but I included her with the women of The L Word on the next page. Yes, that means there were only three out female celebrities at the awards — recruiting's down this year.)
